I’m new here! 🙋🏼♀️ Stage 4 Endo
Let me know what you think about
Mirena
IUD. I’ve also searched & read a lot on here too! 2.) What do you think I should do to be comfortable after surgery on my 4 hour car ride back home? I know this was real lengthy but if you took the time to read, thanks so much. :)

Newby but thank goodness I have found you all!!
I just so hope the
mirena
coil helps to manage my symptoms, not expecting a miracle but would love to be able to be in control of the endo symptoms rather than them controlling me - lets see......

Mirena coil and ra
I am nearly 47 and booked to have a
mirena
put in next week as everyone I know really recommends it. It just occurred though that maybe with ra there is a reason not to. There seems to be some evidence -not sure if true or not-of it bringing it on.

Ruptured follicle, but not ovulating. Anyone had any experiences?!
I’ve had the
mirena
coil and that has been good in helping. I should mention the endo is on my bowel and pouch of Douglas. The pain has started again and today I finally went for another ultrasound.

Employment & Endo
My symptoms have worsened in past 2 years since I came off the pill, had
Mirena
coil fitted during op so trying to think positive that will help! Consultant advised me to accept that I will always have Endo now and need to learn to live with it.

Mirena coil
In a month or so hopefully I should be going for a laparoscopy and the doctor suggested I get the
mirena
coil fitted while I'm under so I was hoping anyone could share their experience with it? Does it help the endo symptoms? Does it cause lot after like labour pains?

What I’m dealing with
I had another laparoscopic surgery because the
Mirena
proforated my uterus only one day after it was put in. My right ovary also had a cyst on it that ruptured (happened before the surgeries). Recently, I stopped having my period after coming off the Nuvaring.

Small Fibre Neuropathy, looking for treatments apart from gabapentin or pregabelin.
I had a
mirena
coil fitted as the HRT Made me bleed . The progesterone caused me to feel very depressed and my neuropathy symptoms went from 0 to 60. The gynae said he’d never met anyone so hormone sensitive! Within the year I had developed oestrogen positive cancer .

They gave me the
mirena
coil, but that was just to mask the problem I thought. The pain in my womb area and pelvis is horrendous. Anyone else been told the same from their gynaecologist.? Thanks ladies for reading

Bleeding every 10 days on cerelle
The consultant wanted me to then have the
mirena
coil fitted, but I was not keen, so instead she said I should take a deoestrogel (sp?) Mini pill. Again I was reluctant but my gp suggested I try it and see how I felt.
