Fobbed off by specialist despite confirmed endo
Hello - this is my first post here, I see all you lovely ladies have had so many experiences and I wondered if anyone could give me advice on my current predicament. Gynaecologist appointment and feeling discouraged
Like many have mentioned on this forum "a general gynaecologist is not as good as the ones from the endometriosis centres. I finally saw a gynaecologist after a long waiting.I felt rushed and not being taken serious. lt was strongly suggested that I should start on Zoladex and HRT's asap to help with

Endo and Mirena
Hi. I'm a 33 year old mum of two. Been to the doctors with my symptoms today, I had diagnosed myself but she was great scd said it sounds like endo on my bowel (women's health practitioner) To begin with she suggested we try the mirena coil as my symptoms are only on day 1 of my period and during ovulation

Just had laparoscopy and in so much pain...help!
Hi All I had a laparoscopy this morning. It went really well, the endometriosis was behind my cervix (uterosacral?) which explained why I had been suffering with sciatica type pains. He also removed a cyst from my left ovary and inserted a mirena coil. He said that he did a lot of work so it's not surprising

Newly diagnosed with endo
hello, I had a laparoscopy 6 weeks ago now and being told I have this condition, but am not sure to what extent, as I go see my consultant early April. I dont even know the stages you all refer to? I have had the mirena coil fitted during my procedure, and although my 2"periods since then have been dramatically

2nd lap - advice needed
Hey everyone, I've just been referred for my second laparoscopy, and I wondered if anyone could give me some advice about hormonal treatments for afterwards.. On my first lap, I was advised to try the Mirena coil, which I did and it unfortunately didn't agree with me at all and I had to have it removed

Still back pain - endo or mirena?
I had my laparoscopy 1 week ago. Diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis, large chocolate cyst on left ovary, adhesions and a large patch at my rectum. Not all pf this could be removed. I had the mirena coil fitted at same time. Yesterday and today I've had low back ache. Is this a symptom of coil settling

Coil removal - sedation/general
Morning everyone I went to the GP yesterday to have my Mirena removed as I've had constant bleeding for the 7 months I've had it. Unfortunately due to my womb being retroverted and struggling with the pain of the speculum my GP wasn't able to remove it. I need to go to hospital for it removed either

Appointment
So ladies I had my hospital this afternoon, didn't realise how worked up about it I was and now I'm totally emotionally drained. The doctor asked me some questions and he was kinda short with me which completely threw me. We talked a bit more and he asked me if I knew about endometriosis, I said yes

PID
I recently had IDU marina coil and at this appointment got STD check. My result came back positive for chlamydia, I was to be treated 2 days later. The following day I was in agonising pain in my lower abdomen. I called emergency doctor with my symptoms and was asked to go in to see the doctor. Here
