Surgery a success or Not?
11 weeks ago after a 5 hour surgery I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis and they told me they were quite sure that they had excised all of it. I also had the mirena coil fitted at the same time. For the last 11 weeks apart from 3 weeks recovery I have been pain free and I have also had no period

mirena inserted a week ago. pelvic/tummy pain horrendous and bowel trouble too =/
Hi peeps, I am relatively new to this forum. Had the mirena put in last week and the first few days, there was no pain (as i was under the influence of morphine/tramadol most likely) I had a biopsy done for uterine polyp and endo tissue for which i'm awaiting the results. Only 4 days of having the mirena

Implant helping with the pain?
I've been told that nexplanon implant will help with my Adenomyosis? Has anyone else found that it works? I tried the mirena coil but it was found on ny cervix instead of in the uterus so i wouldn't like it again. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy which they removed a polyp, no sign of endo but an impression

Hi all, I'm new to this forum, and am just seeking support, and if possible, would like to help anyone going through the horrible illness that is endo. Laparoscopy tomorrow...
I've got a laparoscopy booked for tomorrow, as the doctor has pushed me through (benefits of private!) after only having a consultation Friday. At the same time he is going to remove my implant, and put in a Mirena coil. I'm just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how I'll feel afterwards

Can't find mirena coil threads?!
Hi all, just had a mirena coil fitted on tuesday, I have my appointment in 6 weeks booked for the nurse to check all is ok, but I've seen that you should try and check yourself in the first month for the threads, I have tried twice now and really can't find anything! I'm a bit unsure because I don't

Lap showed no endo, but retroverted uterus was found, can anyone tell me more about it?
Hi guys, had my first laparoscopy and no endometriosid was found, typical haha I just knew that would happen!! I was really disappointed at first because I just wanted to know a cause for all my problems, however they did say I have a retroverted uterus which i'm guessing does explain some of my issues

Back to back pill
I can't have the mirena coil due to it giving me big cysts on my face. So my doctor has told me to take 2 pill packs in a row without a break. I am still bleeding badly when I would normally be due my period on my seven day break despite taking my pill continuously. Has anyone else experienced this?

Not Again :(
Hello, I've suffered from endo since I was 18, I'm now 32. I've had 5 laparoscopies, the last being February last year after I had a cyst burst at the start of December 2015. During that one, they found the endo had spread to my urethra and they put a Mirena in. It took quite a while to recover from

Post Lap pain and emotions
Hi there, Wonder if I can ask your help and advice. I had a lap on Monday where they were able to treat my endo after 12 years of things building. I was so relieved that they finally found out what was causing all the pain and they were able to treat it. They used a diathermy to treat everything and

Positive Mirena insertion experience
I'm writing this post because I find that people only post about their negative mirena insertion experiences. I just had mine fitted today and I just wanted to say it was much better than I expected. I know every woman is different and has different experiences. I was so nervous before hand because I
