Implant helping with the pain?

I've been told that nexplanon implant will help with my Adenomyosis? Has anyone else found that it works?

I tried the mirena coil but it was found on ny cervix instead of in the uterus so i wouldn't like it again.

I had a diagnostic laparoscopy which they removed a polyp, no sign of endo but an impression of Adenomyosis.

Hey!! I'm on implanon and have been since Feb 2015 and haven't found it to be overly great.

My periods are incredibly random but when they do come they are heavy and terribly painful.

I haven't been diagnosed yet but I am desperately trying to get answers as I've had endo symptoms for 7 years now

It'll be the second time I've had it and the first time i was still getting pains and now second time round, nothing has changed again.

I hope you find out soon xx

I had the implant and it caused me nothing but trouble, I was constantly bleeding. A family planning expert told me that it isn't suitable for women with endometriosis (I don't know if the same is true of adeno but I would assume so). She said she can't understand why gynaecologists are still giving it. As soon as I had it removed and went on the Cerezette mini pill the bleeding stopped.

Oh ok. I know last time i had it i was bleeding every 2 weeks.

I'm not great with taking tablets and constantly forget to take them so the pill isn't a great option for me.

Glad its worked for you.

Yeah I know what you mean, the pill isn't for everyone. Have you tried the injection? I was told it is a better option than the implant and you wouldn't need to worry about remembering to take it. I've been ttc so haven't tried it myself yet but could be worth a go.
