Dad 2nd BCR. Advice needed...
Is this indicative of an aggressive progression and
metastasis
? The oncologist said that the doubling time is not really considered below a certain value and brushed that off. I have not seen info anywhere that this is the case. What should we do next? His details are in my profile.

Experience/Opinions on: Pembrolizumab + Lenvatinib for NEPC/SCPC
HEPATOBILIARY: Innumerable bilobar hepatic
metastasis
have progressed. There are several new lesions and enlargement of the pre-existing lesions. For instance, a 1.5 x 1.1 cm lesion in segment 7 is now 2.7 x 2.5 cm.

I thought all of that was behind me but, 10 years later…. here we are 💔 For me, it presented as a bowel obstruction which they say is ultra rare with only 3% or fewer experiencing
metastasis
of breast cancer to the colon.

What does it mean?
Obviously I understand that all cases are different, but I'm having trouble understanding if this kind of
metastasis
still is treatable, as in it can possibly be cured? Or does all types of
metastasis
mean they treat it in terms of just slowing it down?

18F-flotufolastat PET alters treatment approach for nearly 90% of patients with recurrent prostate cancer

who are potentially curable by definitive surgery or radiation, and patients with suspected prostate cancer recurrence based on elevated PSA levels."

Brain metastasis on Ovarian Cancer
The main reason I wanted to write here is that her oncology team monitored a brain
metastasis
in June '2023. After that, she underwent a circle of chemo and radiotherapy. Two months later, her scans showed that the
metastasis
had almost halved in size.

Worried about pulmonary fibrosis if radiating the metastasis in my shoulder blade
When I saw my radio-oncologist a few days ago and asked what is the risk for my lungs if we use radiation against the
metastasis
in my right shoulder blade. He said that there is a risk that it could cause fibrosis but that it does not impact breathing and that I should not worry.

psma findings
Haven’t heard from my Mo but I just opened the psma report and I don’t have any finding of
metastasis
. So I guess I run another psa? Monitor I guess? Anyway I’m happy for sure. I guess we will stay on top of it with psma and psas. Surprised my mo hasn’t called yet lol.

Promising metastasis prevention break-through

-off-switch-revealed/ It turns out that both breast and prostate cancers are cold tumors so could help prostate cancer survival too.

What are the better treatments for metastasis of the bone and pelvic lymph nodes?
He had suggested it before discovering the
metastasis
. Any recommendations for now before starting treatment? Also has put me on Vitamin D and Calcium tablets daily.

Kishan's 6 month Androgen Annihilation Therapy Study for metastatic PCa
"The results confirm that addition of
metastasis
-directed SBRT to highly potent systemic therapy can maintain low PSA after testosterone recovery, although further studies are needed to clarify the optimal systemic therapy regimen."

Follow up to "My trajectory after a 'vacation' and a new metastasis," and a new question
The second
metastasis
is in a lymph node in my chest and close to where the resolved first
metastasis
was in a lung.

plural effusion
I nave plural effusion in my left lung
metastasis
from ovarian cancer. I had a surgery last September 23 with WATS. Now I’m on strong chemo but this plural effusion is the same. I had five line of carboplatin, Bevacizumab, zentabun. Noting helps.

HoLEP for BPH followed by SBRT several months later for 4+3 = 7 PCa. Is it preferable to do the HoLEP before the SBRT?
PSMA-Pet no
metastasis
. PSA 8.8. Decipher 0.51. PSA density 0.11. Having HoLEP in May 2024 then SBRT several months later.

Nanocarriers for metastasis, a summary
"Nanocarriers are a hot research area for targeted materials in oncology therapy. Xtandi did not work.
Per his scan earlier this year there is no
metastasis
. What is the next likely treatment option? Another drug like Xtandi? Radiation? Chemo?
