Nanocarriers for metastasis, a summary
"Nanocarriers are a hot research area for targeted materials in oncology therapy. They can transport anticancer drugs (genes, proteins or small molecules) and allow the drug to avoid normal tissues, reducing the accumulation of the drug at non targeted sites and achieving reduced toxicity elsewhere in

225 AC PSMA J591 is active in mCRPC with difficult metastasis
Interestinggly, it seems to work better than Pluvicto for
metastasis

Vacation from Lupron/Zytiga - Temporary or Permanent!
CT/Bone scan did not show any definite
metastasis
. PSMA PET showed "possible"
metastasis
in 4 spots around ribs. "Indeterminate" and "suspicious" was the radiologist's wording. Treated aggressively due to possible Stage 4. Had 25 rounds radiation of prostate for primary tumor last year.

Stage 4. IMRT + HDR Brachytherapy
I have Stage 4 (
metastasis
in L2). Currently on ADT. I have chosen IMRT followed by HDR Brachytherapy. I'm starting IMRT in January 2024. What was you experience with this combination? Did it work? Any side effects? Thank you for your responses.

Significant progress with FPI-2265 development program, and an update on FPI-1434 Phase 1: is Actinium the new Lutetium?
I hope not...I mean I hope they will find a way to use it at early stages of the disease (since it seems to work very well with micro
metastasis
), but it still looks promising https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/fusion-pharmaceuticals-announces-clinical-program-and-manufacturing-updates-302026567

What does it mean?
Obviously I understand that all cases are different, but I'm having trouble understanding if this kind of
metastasis
still is treatable, as in it can possibly be cured? Or does all types of
metastasis
mean they treat it in terms of just slowing it down?

Just saying hello as a new member
I thought all of that was behind me but, 10 years later…. here we are 💔 For me, it presented as a bowel obstruction which they say is ultra rare with only 3% or fewer experiencing
metastasis
of breast cancer to the colon.

What is the next step
I have one more Immunotherapy for my bladder cancer, so far all scan have shown no
metastasis
. Now I need to focus on my PC after more than a year of ignoring it. My PSA has been fluctuating and is now 0.65, doubling time is 16 months, I have not had ADT yet and my MO wants to just wait and watch.

Brain metastasis
[1] When I began reading PCa studies on PubMed, I saw a lot of cell studies that used LNCaP (from a lymph PCa cell), PC3 (from a bone PCa cell) &/or DU145 (supposedly a brain met cell, but now described as "derived from a central nervous system
metastasis
") cells.
