relationship between stress and metastasis explained (in vivo)
il looks like there is a mechanism involving neutrophils that creates a favorable environment for
metastasis
…it’s a very promising attempt to explain the mechanism behind a known relationship https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1535610824000370

Non metastasis castrate resistant
When you are on ADT and become Non metastatic Castrate resistant and your testosterone levels are below zero, what is the cancer feeding off to cause the PSA to still rise? Hoping for your replies so as to give me some understanding. Thank you.

What defines “stable disease” in Advanced PCa?
I can see the results and while none of the tumors have gone away there are many references to “persistent but improving” to describe his
metastasis
. This has made me wonder what criteria will be used to determine if my dad’s cancer is stable?

MRI report shows enhancing bone lesion is noted involving the left sphenoid bone.
That’s from an MRI taken six weeks after 10 sessions of IMRT were completed for a surgically inoperable
metastasis
in my skull. Apparently this means the contrast agent shows increased blood flow or activity in the tumor.

Should I undergo Triplet therapy?
Was diagnosed with stage-4 prostrate cancer with
metastasis
to lymph nodes and bones in April 2024. PSA was 400 when diagnosed and it shot up to 700 in a month. Started with Lupron and Nubeqa. PSA has come down to 8 in 2 months. Next PSA test (after 3rd month) is tomorrow.

How about eating a healthy snack that might help fight PCa. Lotus seeds (Nelumbo nucifera) also known as makhana contain Neferine, see below
More than 90% of cancer-related deaths develop after
metastasis
, and CSCs are considered to be largely responsible for the cell migration and invasion.

Hello, I am here because my husband just got diagnosed with prostate cancer with
metastasis
to lymph nodes. Gleason 9, PSA 56, he is 54 years old. We are both in shock still and real scared. Did not expect to hear stage 4. Trying to get as much info as possible how to deal with this new reality.

hello
I just had a scan this week and there is no further
metastasis
. I will find out today what our next steps are. I had an allergic reaction to carboplatin during this last treatment so I won't be able to receive it anymore.

Metastatic PC that produces no or low PSA
Hi All, Looking to connect with people with metastatic PC that produces no or low PSA I am 44 and was diagnosed with PC with a bone
metastasis
grade 4+5. My PSA at time of diagnosis was 0.54. I’m undergoing PEACE 1 protocol treatment. Finish RT and Doxetaxel still on Zytiga.

PSMA PET Results - don’t know what to do next (more tests?)
My understanding is that
metastasis
liver from the start with no other
metastasis
(I.e bone) is rare. Can you help me understand the below? Any guidance (we are getting referral/second opinion to Princess Margaret)? Any places in the USA we can send our results for a second opinion online?
