What defines “stable disease” in Advanced PCa?

My dad just had his first PSMA Pet Scan after completing 6 rounds of docetaxel. We visit the MO next week to discuss results.

I can see the results and while none of the tumors have gone away there are many references to “persistent but improving” to describe his metastasis.

This has made me wonder what criteria will be used to determine if my dad’s cancer is stable? Hoping posing the question here will lead me to questions to ask at his appointment.

stable=no increase in size and number. RECIST 1.1 guidelines are used:
