Lupron Holiday but I can't wear a swim suit.
After a year on Lupron I am on a break, hopefully a long break. But the added fat on my chest and lower abdomen is a daily reminder of the Lupron effect. I'm aware the fatty chest is permanent but is the lower abdomen fat too? I appreciate all input.

Need a little help 6 days of Xtandi left.
Hey folks, I'm wondering, have you ever reduced your meds by say a pill or two until new ones came in? I just noticed I have about 6 days left and of course the pharmacy that sends it to me has the day off. I get it. I'm just worried about how long it would take to get the next bottle. It took a month

Is this bruising normal?
My husband was diagnosed 4 years ago with stage IV PCa , mets to bones- hips, pelvis, sacrum, with a Gleason 4+4. Received Taxotere initially. Currently on Yonsa (insurance switched him from Zytiga) and methylprednisolone, plus the bad boy Lupron of course. Here is my question: he bruises horribly from

Newly Diagnosed Prostate Cancer. Gleason score 9, PSA 1.4 at age 58.
SO glad to have found this Forum! I guess I have a rare form of PC that does not report PSA. This summer started having problems peeing, like blocked at times. Google told me it was BPH and started taking some natural supplements. 45 days later finally called Teledoc, and was put on Flomax.

PSA nadir
How long after VMAT-RT 3Gy X 20Fx (June 2020) and Lupron Depot/6 months (End Nov 16th 2020) does it take to reach my PSA nadir? My PSA went from 13.6 pre-Rx to 0.03 post-Rx. I am not sure if that 0.03 is my nadir or simply the result of my ADT. It cannot be the result of my RT, too early for a result

Medication side effects or bone metastasis pain?
Sorry to complain but this is more of a search for someone that maybe has gone through the same symptoms. If you have followed my progress I have done pretty well for a Gleason 9 with advance metastatic disease which I had since my official diagnosis in March 2017. I had only mild pain with docetaxel

Grateful
Just feeling very grateful this Christmas time that after 12 years I have an undetectable PSA. Surgery 2008, radiation 2012, Lupron for 5 years, Daralutamide for 4-5 months and a few snake-oil supplements. Do a good deal of exercise and feel very well. Good luck and Happy New Year to all you brothers

Body changes after EBRT and Lupron
I had EBRT, 45 days, and Lupron, 18 months. When I was on Lupron, I had no sex drive and lost almost all my body hair south of my navel. When the hot flashes stopped as my testosterone came back, I was expecting my body hair to come back too. But that hasn't happened. I have very light hair on my legs

Lupron or orchiectomy
For economic reasons I am contemplating orchiectomy. I say “contemplating” because, the idea occurred some time ago and I haven’t yet done it. My next orchiectomy “window “ comes up at month’s end when my 3 month Lupron is scheduled. My wife had pretty much talked me into another postponement,

Lupron and Metformin
Hey gang...I'm not sure if it's all the holiday treats or that I'm six weeks into my first shot of Lupron but my blood sugar has gone up. Normal fasting glucose is around 115-120 but lately it's been 140-150. I'm now taking four 500mg Metformin ER at dinner...dosage used to be three...but still seeing

Timing of DEXA scans and CT scans
I am on lupron with mets to some lymph nodes. My psa is currently 0.13. I just had an appointment with my oncologist's nurse who says I do not need scans till my psa starts to rise as my prostate cancer is currently under control. Any thoughts on this? I thought you should have scans more often

Lupron versus Eligard
Been on Lupron and Prolia for 6 years with amazing results. Undetectable PSA the whole time after a post op PSA doubling time of 3 weeks. Went for shots today and surprise! No Lupron available??? Worldwide shortage???? So they gave me Eligard. Still very upset with the change as I didn’t want to mess

Wishing everyone a better 2021
Hi everyone, I wish everyone a wonderful 2021 and hope all our PSA's reduce or at least go down next year. For me, the COVID-19 2020 has been a good opportunity to get my APCa treatments out of the way. 12 months ago I prepared to go in for my prostate biopsy and TURP. I went in on 24 Dec 19 and
