PSA
Just had another PSA test along with Lipids. Everything A-OK. PSA still undetectable, although I found out that i did not have Medicare B and was charged 39, 000 for 6 month lupron injection. They put the hurt on me.

35 month tE2 update
Absolutely thrilled with my mono tE2 ADT therapy after 35 months! I repeat..."The ONLY side effect is little boobies" and of course my sex life has been 'on hold' for quite some time, but what the heck, I'm looking forward to completing/celebrating my 78th orbit in just a few weeks! Thanks to the many

Treatment plan at Mayo after PSMA scan
Moving forward toward SRT at Mayo after PSMA found intense uptake in surgical bed at left/posterior aspect of bladder. Radiologist is ordering MRI and Lupron after 2 weeks of casodex and will drop casodex after 4 weeks continuing Lupron for 6 months. The ADT approach sounds a little weak to me. I was

Post SABR (SBRT) side effects
My father underwent 5 rounds of SABR alongside a 4-month injection of Lupron. He finished his last radiation treatment on Feb 18th. The last three days he has been experiencing a lot of gas and diarrhea. I messaged the radiation oncologist and he suggested Imodium and the BRAT diet. Anybody have any

Another ADT formula ?
Hello all I have been on ADT for 4 years - every 3 months. Up to last time it was Lupron. Last injection was end of Nov and I complained about side effects - especially fatigue, leg weakness and especially the hot flashes. They switched formula to TREISTAR (triplorelin). At first I found some relief

Eligard Lump on Abdomen Remains Long after Injection
I underwent 1 year of hormone therapy with the prostate being removed (as planne d) halfway through at the 6 month mark. In other words, I had two 3-month injections in the months prior to the surgery and then 2 more 3-month injections following the surgery (total of 12 months of hormone therapy).

After the BCR and the ADT vacation – All the tests results are in – it's curtain time - what comes next – what to do next ?
A quick background review … Started out as 'I can't pee ! - a TOTAL urinary blockage. Dateline March break- 2017. Spent 4 months in and out of emergency wards with out of control UTI's, a catheter for 4 months (which I was taking care of with NO CLUE as to how to manage it) and no urologist or

ADT with psa increasing.
Not newly diagnosed but need to post this: I am on my 3rd round of hormone treatments - lupron 24 months, Casodex 9 months and now 9 months Eligard. Psa rising, now 1.16, doubled in 6 months. What next I don't know. Started with Gleason 9 aggressive Cancer.

The club you never wanted to join: Stage 4 Gleason 9+ at 46
Hey Guy’s- I appreciate this group starting. Having a slightly more age relevant group is a great idea. Here’s my situation: Diagnosed on my birthday at 46; stage 4 Gleason 9. Lymph nodes involved and masses developing at the base of my penis. That’s a shitty birthday! Fast forward past a lot of

Leg cramps during/after ADT.
Perhaps unrelated? I am curious to see if anyone else has this issue. After radiation treatment (no surgery) I was treated with Lupron for 2 years. About halfway through, besides the normal side effects, I developed leg cramps during exercise, even a short walk. Calcium and Magnesium levels are normal

Xgeva
My dad is on lupron and Zytiga ( prednisone) and now Xgeva which I guess is a monthly shot - is it normal to have to get blood work monthly before the Xgeva and is that ever able to be given every few months rather than monthly ? Thank you!
