Stopping Zoladex or Lupron
At what point, if ever, would it be advisable to stop injections of Zoladex or Lupron when they cease to be effective in suppressing PC? I am still on Zoladex shots every 12 weeks, despite its failure to work anywhere near as well as it did initially. Given the known downsides to the shots, I wonder

Thank You Fam, I'm Home! :)
I received all of your "prayers, love and Bday Salutations" you guys bless my soul! The emergency was crowned; but my doctors are wonderful and because my syptoms and MS 15 was it. I went back for assessment really quickly. Being tired, I'm used too - but feeling like "Ivory Soap"was left on my face

Supplement for libido enhancement
I have been off of Lupron for about 1 year. I find my libido is still weak and was hoping someone could offer some advice on a supplement that may help me in this area of enhancing my libido. I’ve tried Maca Root.. doesn’t seem to help.. Would appreciate some advice in this area.

Hi, I started Synarel nasal spray (Like Lupron or zoladex but in nasal spray) and I feel so rough?!? I started it 6 days ago and was okay till day 3 then started feeling tired, weak, bit lightheaded, my appetite gone and feel nauseous, emotional and keep feeling anxious like I’m going to have a panic

Has anyone successfully used Dr. Peatfield´s Adrenal Fatigue protocol?
I have read several articles by Dr. P where he stresses that treating and optimising adrenal health is crucial before adding thyroid hormone. He recommends using glandulars or HC/prednisone (depending on how severe the condition is) for 8-12 weeks and then trying to wean off it and see if the thyroid

Need ADT advice
I expect to get my first Lupron shot this week as an appetizer for staring RT in about 2 months. Reading all the side effects of Lupron gives me the willies. I can deal with man boobs, maybe even hot flashes and mood changes. I am more concerned about the cognitive impact of ADT, bone loss, muscle tone

Dad to start Xtandi, does it work in later treatment times?
My father was diagnosed at 83 with stage 4 lymph nodes and lots of bone mets, psa 1204. Oncologist started him on 2 weeks casodex then lupron. Lupron alone kept psa to about 20 for 2 years, then started to go up (54) restarted casodex, that with continuing lupron lasted 2 years, then psa started to

Treatment Changes and Good Results
I’ve had a few changes to my treatment since starting in December. As we thought might happen, abiraterone didn’t play well with my liver, even at reduced doses. So, I stopped taking it and, after waiting a couple of weeks for my liver function numbers to return to normal, started on Xtandi in mid January

ADT CHOICES
I'm on Firmagon once a month and it's working fine. The only problem is that I feel like garbage for 2 or 3 days after the shot. Is there any difference in effectiveness if I had a 6 month shot of Lupron or Eligard?
