Very ill since HRT and Moderna vaccine ….
Hi. Overactive for a few years then radioactive treatment causes me to go under active for the last 18 years. Menopause meant I was fitted with a more a coil 8 months ago to help symptoms and now trying HRT estradiol gel for three months so far. Huge weight gain but could also be because of poor diet

Anybody had multiple surgeries to remove endo, then total hysterectomy?
I'm trying to get some advice from any ladies who have had multiple laparoscopies to remove endometriosis and then ended up eventually having a total hysterectomy (uterus + ovaries removed). How did you decide when it was enough and then decide to have the hysterectomy? At what age did you decide on

1381 ng/dL total testosterone natural baseline
My total test is ~1400 ng/dL naturally but my SHBG is ~130 nmol/L which brings my free test to only ~120 pg/mL (~0.8% of my total T) with albumin at 4.7 g/dL I'm supplementing boron, magnesium, vitamin D3 +K2, zinc, eating bok choy and 50% calories from carbs , 200g protein, 4250-5000 calories daily

High oestrogen levels?! Advice needed...
I’ve just had a phone call from the clinic. I have my final scan on monday after stims, before egg retrieval on Wednesday. My lovely nurse advised me that if my oestrogen levels are too high they may advise that they freeze the embryos and have a FET next month. Why? How? I’d rather wait a month rather

What is the impact of estrogens and progesteron taken before FET?
Before the frozen embryo transfer I have to take estrogens and 5 days before progesteron. How is it working with the body? Has this medication some side effects?

But still interesting.) People living in regions

Scared, scared and scared. Bleed and drugs.
Yesterday I had a bleed, clinic scanned me and said was a small bruise (hematoma) and all was ok. Embryo/baby was tucked up out the way and the bruise was smaller than the pregnancy. I measured 6w3d: my scan wasn’t until next Tuesday but as they saw a healthy heartbeat they have discharged me. The bleeding

What else beside my quarterly PSA Test?
If I am gonna get my periodic PSA Test, I appreciate others suggestions as to what additional tests I could have added to my visit? I was thinking of things outside standard blood work tests such as Vitamin D, Testosterone, Estrogen etc? Ones that could show overall health and possible factors in watching

Mercury T3 not working with short date or HRT affecting thyroid meds?
Hi Everyone Hope you are all well. I am just wondering does HRT impact our thyroid medication in any way? I was doing well on T3 but since December 2020 I have gone downhill. I started HRT probably about two years ago. I am trying to work out if it’s the meds not being effective ( they are dated June

Intensifying ADT?
I am fortunate to have found this forum with invaluable advice generously given, sometimes with opposing points of view which add to insights. Any views about a preferred addition to ADT in a relatively newly diagnosed metastatic PC r would be most welcome, not the least since although doc and clinic

Menopause/POI and endo, where can I find support?
I have Stage 4 endo and started HRT 2 months ago as I'm quite far down the line of perimenopause. I'm 40 and I have 2 children aged 4 and 1 (no-one quite knows how my ovaries did it). I have had awful symptoms for so much of my life I put the extreme fatigue of the past couple of years and about 1,000

Oestrogen: vaginal vs patches
For my first FET my clinic prescribed vaginal oestrogen (Progynova) which I found very uncomfortable with regular chalky discharge (apologies if too much detail) and excessive dryness. When this transfer failed I asked my clinic if there were any alternatives available and they advised I can use oestrogen

Can Endometriosis still survive 20 years post hysterectomy if taking Oestrogen ?
I'm new to this group and apologise if this seems a silly question after all this time, but can my endometriosis come back and trouble me if I restart oestrogen? Some basic background re my concern. In 2001 I had an hysterectomy which included removal of my womb, ovaries and most of my cervix. I was

Can anyone recommend an endo who checks and treats sex hormone imbalances alongside Hashimotos? I think I have estrogen dominance.
I'm looking for someone who looks at the whole picture and treats holistically. I have a list from thyroid UK but have no idea about the merits of each person. I may benefit from reviewing my thyroid meds as well. Thanks in advance.
