I've been struggling with Anxiety and depression.

I have tried various different Shari's.

My new Psychiatrist want's to wean me off Sertraline and introduce Paroxetine. Had anyone got any advice on this Paroxetine.

My anxiety is through the roof and I think I may be peri menopausal!

I've been on Estrogel since August 2020 and also take Utrogestan 200mg from day 14-28 . I sleep a lot better when taking the Utrogestan (Progesterone).

I am having great difficulty with my anxiety and I get really anxious before my therapy appointments. The therapy itself is needed and challenging.

A lot of the time I feel inferior and worthless in my life... Not good enough.

The Psychiatrist told me yesterday that I "project" on to him and probably/most likely onto others.

I need a lot of reassurance from my therapist as I don't want to fail and get things wrong. I'm a perfectionist.

Any advice would be appreciated.

That sounds like a lot. Perfectionism and fear have a lot to do with feeling shame. That is brenè brown’s area. She is a serious researcher first not just a celebrity. There are therapists and workshops that specialize in her work. That therapy had a huge impact on my life.

I, too, have depression& terrible anxiety. Am flying tomorrow to my daughter's for her to watch over me. I also have claustrophobia; thus a mandatory mask may send me over the edge. I may not sleep at all tonight.. Can't believe how helpless this condition can make us feel..I'd rather have 2 broken legs, how about you?
