Prostate Cancer Advocacy and Birth Control
Birth control pills are polluting drinking water and increasing prostate cancer incidence rates throughout the developed world. A study in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) shows that the highest rates of men with prostate cancer are found wherever there are high rates of women using oral contraceptives

I’ve not seen anyone talk about being on the estrogen blocker Anastrozole/Arimidex. Does anyone take it? I wish there were a list of abbreviations because I’m not understanding most of them. I’m fairly new so I guess I’ll learn.

Could you be menopausal?
Many symptoms described on this forum could be as a result of peri or actual menopause. I had a goitre (my reason for joining this forum) and low energy levels etc. After eliminating thyroid problems, with private specialist then back to nhs, tests = normal, I had my hormones measured by my gp. After

Low estradiol
I've read that PCOS has estrogen dominance or high levels of estrogen. Can you have PCOS with low estradiol?

Levothyroxine and HRT advice needed
Having had hyperthyroidism in February, 5 weeks later the most recent bloods show I now have hypothyroidism. It is likely that I have subacute Thyroiditis but GP has told me I must start Levothyroxine. I have an endocrinologist appointment next week. I am also on transdermal oestrogen gel which I apply

Hormonal pills estrogen progestine
Does anyone have experience with birth control pills? I am takin progesterone only 10mg each day and that increased my energy but i still have a flare every two months or so. My endocrinologist suggested Progestine and small amount of estrogen so that both hormones stop having swings. With progesterone

Zoladex and HRT troubles - advice please!
I am 6 weeks into a zoladex trial to see if a hysterectomy is the answer to my 25 years of endo issues. Am 41 so trialling HRT add back as the zoladex is giving me awful hot sweats and sleeplessness. I seem to be really sensitive to any progesterone medications (they give me crippling migraines). The

Advice on adrenal/ dental issues.
I have Hashimotos, PCOS, asthma and estrogen dominance. I have had a saliva cortisol test and have very low cortisol (particularly low in morning). I had dental procedures of amalgam removal (I ingested a significant amount of the filling due to this being poorly removed) and was ill following the procedure

VERY CONFUSED AND IN NEED SOME ADVISE/SUGGESTIONS
Good day everyone I started an Egg recipient treatment in February. It was a down regulated cycle. I was placed on Oestrogen patches (200mg) and oestrogen tabs (8mg). The cycle ended up being cancelled because my uterine lining did not go beyond 4.5mm. I spotted for 3days after getting off the patches

EAU19 Barcelona – 15-19 March 2019 - Testosterone slows PCa recurrence in low-risk patients.

Role of Estrogen in Androgen-Induced PCa in NBL Rats.
New study below [1]. OK, so you are wondering how tall can those NBL rats be? How much a year do they earn? NBL rats are 'Noble' rats. Sometimes an abbreviation doesn't save much space & takes longer to say. MC Bosland has been messing about with rats for 40 years. There are studies by others going

Does this sound like endo?
I am new here, but I have to say how thankful that I am for everyone who posts. it makes me feel so much less crazy...because others are going through it. Growing up I had terrible periods. I started early, when I was 10...and I remember being 11 years old with a golfball size clot. That was scary then

New to DCIS
Thank you for adding me to this group. I was recently diagnosed with DCIS, had a lumpectomy in February, and they are now suggesting radiation, followed by a hormone inhibitor. I'm pre-menopausal currently. My genetic testing came back low on the tissue removed. Estrogen positive. How do you decide
