IBS-D - Silicogel
For anyone like me, who suffers from IBS-D, I would thoroughly recommend Solicogel, which you can buy from any natural health shop, such as Holland and Barratt. I have tried many things over the last few years since my problem got worse, but other than the usual Imodium type of tablets, this works very

Vitamin And Nutrients plus Thyroid Health
I am taking a vitamin complex called rainbow light its a food based multivitamin and I am trying to help if I am low with any vitamins. I started a multi vitamin regimen for about a week. I am wondering if I previously overcame a iron deficiency and I have only had low vitamin should it effect my thyroid

Radium 223 success/advice?
My 82 year old dad has prostate cancer that has spread to the bones and after becoming hormone resistant he will be starting Radium 223 soon, as long as his next scan doesn't show any nasties. Does anyone have any success stories of this? Does it work better with anything else? Any advice would be appreciated

Need a little bit of help/advice
Hi, New here, so hopefully this post is correct? I moved to Vietnam 2 years ago, whilst over there, I’m very careful in what I eat & where I eat but I have diarrhoea/loose bowl movements at least once a week. I came to the UK for Xmas for 2 weeks (I’m still here) & I still had diarrhoea, I had it on

9 months after Chemo PSA on the rise.
Saw Oncologist today, my PSA has been steady 0.028 since the Chemo ended, today it's 0.70. I had the surgery (subcapsular orchiectomy) in Nov so maybe my body just needs to settle from the trauma. I asked about Testosterone levels, he didn't know and he asked for another blood test. He did say the Chemo

Hi and thanks for even reading this. My husband was diagnosed beginning of Sept with alcoholic liver disease and had ascites, oedema, some jaundice, tiredness etc. Our GP has been amazing and he has had the ascites drained ( 8.75L) and condition is we think stable. I'm just finding it hard and ended

Terrible guts after flu
I have had a fluey virus since the 10th of December. The flu symptoms went away after about 11 days, but during that time I’ve been feeling nauseous and have had diarrhoea. I also had such an acidic stomach I lost my appetite. I got an emergency appointment at my GP on Friday 20th. I was acutely anxious

I’m in a bad way
I posted a week or so back that I was really ill with a virus. So I’m still really ill. Ended up at the GP as an emergency last Friday morning as I was in an acute anxiety attack, as well as still have diarrhoea and feeling so sick. My husband and youngest daughter came and I can’t tell you how appallingly

Update on recent Fatty Liver
I finally saw the Hepatologist and she is doing a battery of blood work testing on me and suggested that she wants a MRI done on the liver and a liver biopsy. My health insurance has a large deductible. Since MRI’s are rather costly, is it prudent to skip the MRI? Or just do both of them to

Leading the Troops by Example
Hey Troops, This is a challenging time of year for us with finicky livers so I thought I would post daily to show what I am doing to maintain a good state. The transplant doctor that has been monitoring me says I am nothing short of the poster girl for adherence to instruction as nobody ever does what
