For anyone like me, who suffers from IBS-D, I would thoroughly recommend Solicogel, which you can buy from any natural health shop, such as Holland and Barratt. I have tried many things over the last few years since my problem got worse, but other than the usual Imodium type of tablets, this works very well. In layman terms it apparently coats the stomach, and makes it less sensitive, meaning it slows the system down. It took a few days before I noticed any improvement, but now I wouldn't be without it. It's definitely worth a try.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing. Pleased you've found something that's worked for you.
For anyone thinking of trying this, please bear in mind that what works for one person may not work for another. IBS is different for everyone.
It doesn't taste nice but it does seem to work. I have used it for about 3 months and no longer need it.
It does work but is a bit expensive.
Ive found it gives me stomach cramps initially but if you can put up with that it does work.
