Temgesic 200mcg UK update for RLS
Well, Mrs P (my wife) has now been taking Temgesic 200msg for 10 days and the results are very promising. At the moment she is reducing her pramipexole and is now taking 2½ tablets (0.088/0.125) and trying to reduce by a half tablet every two weeks. She takes the Prami at about 7.00pm. The doctor

Which magnesium supplement?
I have recently started on flecainide (50mg am and 100mg at night) and dipping in and out of AF. Dr Gupta recommended I try Magnesium glycinate as this has the least negative effects on the bowel and worth trying. Would appreciate your thoughts as to what you take and what brands. Will start of with

What to do now ?
Hello, I have been on a 2mg Neupro patch for the last 6 months. It has been working well except for the last 4 nights where I fear may now be the start of augmenting. I have had restless legs for a few years now, it became exacerbated last year after a craniotomy for a brain tumour. I have always taken

Has anyone done ovarian stimulation PRP? Did it work ?
Hi Just wondering if anyone has had any notable success or improvement with ovarian rejuvenation PRP. This was recommended by our Doctor as a way forward first option, second option donor eggs. I am 41, with poor egg reserve and have previously responded poorly to stims in terms of number of follicles

Be alert of Secondary MDS
My father is successfully fighting prostate cancer since 3.5 yrs. His cemo (by pills) for 6 months then 40 radiations went well after testical removal. But his hemoglobin started to be low like 9 from 12. We asked doctor couple of times he just asked us to focus on PSA which is 0.01. But now my father

TPLL
I want to thank you all again for welcoming me into your community. Mike's cancer diagnosis has been very unique. As has his treatment. I don't recall what I have already shared, but his actual diagnosis ended up being TPLL (Tcell Prolymphocytic Leukemia). His WBC count went from 432,000 on 9/30 to 530,000

Can apple cider vinegar help with b12 absorption problems?
Hiya all, I'm a little confused. My friend just showed me a YouTube video from a doctor, which says drinking apple cider vinegar can generate the stomach acid we need if we are vitamin b12 deficient, no need to take further b12. Surely it can't be that simple? Can any one explain please? Many thanks

Fibromyalgia and restless legs
My mum is experiencing restless legs and arms at night. She is suffering with fibromyalgia, a chronic nerve pain condition. She's taking gabapentin and mirtazapine at night. Her mirtazapine has been increased - wondered if this was the cause? Or if magnesium tablets would help calm nerves.

I need a doctor who will listen to me!
I am infuriated. I am experiencing augmentation after 4 years on ropinirole. I experience severe RLS at least every other night and consequently do not get any sleep at all. The RLS has even spread beyond my legs. I finally discovered (after some research on the RLS foundation website) that if I take

Life after transplant
I read a lot about people struggling after transplant to get back to normal life and it’s clear that for many “normal” is not what they had before diagnosis. I don’t know if I am in a minority or we only tend to speak out when things are bad but my life is amazing now. My bloods are all in normal ranges

Results back need advice please
Hi all, hope you can help me. I have just received my results back from Medichecks and need some advice please. I do not seems to be having any health issues except for hair shredding. I realise that my ferritin and Vit D are low and could be a contributor for hair loss. My TPA antibodies are sky high

RLS and it’s woes
Hi everyone. As a RLS sufferer for years I have tried magnesium iron supplements. Acupuncture mats Gabapenten and for the lack of sleep Clonazepam. My mainstay is ropinirole now up to 2mgs per day which makes my vision blurred and augmentation. Ropinirole is failing. I find the symptoms are timely

Thyroiditis of unknown origin
Hi All, I have been diagnosed with a thyroiditis of unknown origin, confirmed not autoimmune. I was hyper when diagnosed. My FT4 has now dropped back into range but my FT3 is still high and TSH still suppressed. We are monitoring to see it goes back in range and ensure I don’t subsequently go Hypo. Just

Phobias Magnified with PD
I’m new to this thread. I was hoping that someone may share the same struggle I’m having in the hopes they have conquered it. My struggle is the mental side. I was diagnosed 3 months ago with PD at the age of 50. My wife and I are fairly certain I’ve had PD for as long as 2 years. Over the past 2 years

Split FET transfer during October
Hello lovely people,. Well we had our nurse's consultation by phone yesterday afternoon, I start Buserelin on the 24th to kick off our 2nd/3rd FET session. They want to do a split transfer. I am all over the place and we haven't even started yet. I am understandably unnerved by the whole split transfer

Temgesic - letter to the Consultant - raising the profile
If you take a look at my post 'Thought for the Day' you'll understand the context of this letter we sent to Mrs P's consultant. I'm urging suffers to write down their experiences and send it to their doctors. We sent this as an email together with the evidence for Temgesic success stories. I'm hoping

Buprenorphine/Subutex
Hi all-I’ve been able to find a clinic here locally in Oklahoma City that is working with me on the withdrawal from pramipexole. The quick background on my RLS is 30plus years deep with the highest dose of prami being 3.25 mg. Buprenorphine is working. I am now at .16 mg with bouts of breakthrough occasionally
