Hi
Just wondering if anyone has had any notable success or improvement with ovarian rejuvenation PRP. This was recommended by our Doctor as a way forward first option, second option donor eggs.
I am 41, with poor egg reserve and have previously responded poorly to stims in terms of number of follicles. Last cycle was on the long protocol but only got 3 follicles = 1 egg =1 embryo.
On review with our Doctor today :- Embryo was a good grade, Uterus lining was 10mm during ET which he considers optimal for receptivity.
He couldn’t say for sure what is the cause of failure to implantation - I expected a more definitive answer. So am left a bit confused 🤷♀️.
This is not the first failure to implant an even thinking of changing Doctors.
So as a way forward we discussed PRP first so to get hopefully more eggs to genetic test and freeze and take it from there.
I feel the problem is with the receptivity of my uterus as this failure to implant happens whether naturally or IVF (naturally at least twice or three times a year. )
Question? Has anyone done a particular assessment of the uterus where specific tests besides receptivity window were done ? If so which test and what was the approach and results?
Does PRP help with quantity or quality of eggs? Has anyone done this and what was the outcome?
From your experience, what would you also recommend we try (can be alternative remedies or diets) to improve our situation.
I haven’t wrapped my head around second option which is donor eggs as I had always imagined my offspring to be an extension in some way of my genetic makeup. How does one cope with this?
This gets harder but we get stronger!
