Donor Egg Counselling 😬
Hello lovelies, tomorrow we have our DE counselling and then an appointment with the coordinator, and I’m feeling a mix of nerves, excitement and exhaustion! Part of me is excited to open this new door, but I’m also terrified at the unknown. I thought I’d made the decision that DE was the way forward

Second heart attack in 2 weeks!
My first was on 29th November and resulted in emergency angioplasty which was diifucult enough to deal with but I suffered another one on the 15th December again resulting in emergency treatment. I have just returned home and have found this all completely overwhelming both physically and mentally. I

Can't do this anymore
Just can't carry on like this anymore: constantly anxious something is going to happen, constantly worried about what others (strangers included) are thinking about me, feeling like I'm not good enough for anything or anyone I take flux and have done for 5 years, had counselling, take propranolol,

Let me introduce myself.
I was diagnosed with Early Onset PD at the age of 49. I am now 67. Will fill in more another day. It's 11:00 am & time to get moving. Thank you all for the hearty welcome!! This seems to be a very user-friendly (and friendly user) forum. ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

Disappointed
Yesterday we had our follow up appointment regarding what happened to our failed frozen embryos. We waited just under an hour to be seen, which annoyed my partner but were always late to be seen in there. Just trying to survive...
I’m 41. I have 5 children. Two are adults. I work FT. Life’s been hard. Life is good now. Anxiety has always been with me. Now depression is a shadow following me and I can’t get it to go away. I’ve started menopause a few months ago. Started counseling. Good job, happy kids, in love. Sad. Too sad

HELP anxiety/depression
Hi guys Two years ago I had a mental break down and I went to the doctors who diagnosed me with anxiety and depression. He prescribed me sertraline. This did help me get back on my feet like going back to work after taking some time off. However recently since September I have been under a lot of stress

December's Topic of the Month - Depression & Anxiety (We want to hear your tips and experiences)
Our last Topic of the Month discussion for 2017 is 'Depression & Anxiety'. Depression and anxiety can commonly occur in people with lupus. It is often difficult to determine whether they are an integral part of lupus (as it is in some people), where management of the lupus itself often lifts these feelings

Anxiety, depression, suicide
I am trying to hang in, it's difficult every day, still no meds work, looked into counseling, nothing so far. I tried EAP and they sounded almost predatory , wanted to know if I thought about suicide, so they could call 911.. Needless to say,I didn't do that. Tried to contact EA and have heard nothing

I'm new... On the other side
My husband has suffered with depression since 2013. In January of this year he was sectioned due to suicidal thoughts but then discharged after 2 days under the care of the home treatment team. He stayed under them for 5-6 months and then discharged under the care of his own GP. I'm not sure if I'm

Hello Fibro Warriors Hope you all are well and enjoying your weekend so far. I haven't been on here properly for a while. I have engaged in CBT counselling accessed through my GP by a self referral. Why is my tinnitus getting worse and not improving?
Why is my tinnitus getting worse and not improving? A few people have contacted me recently and asked, why is my tinnitus getting worse and not improving? Understandably this is cause for concern because the truth is, that many things can be responsible. It can be disheartening when a person believes

I am a bit lost
I have been doing counseling and taking increasing doses and different types of drugs for depression and anxiety. Recently I have been increasing doses of ADD medication, which does seem to help me focus some instead of being so scatter-brained. But I still have the nervous tremors, bouncing legs, and

Sex and relationship stress
My husband and I have been trying for 2.5 years now and are finally about to embark on our IVF journey. Our next appointment is the treatment plan. Whilst I have been diagnosed as underactive thyroid which is now under control, the main issue for my husband and I has been low motility and morphology
