advice on when to take iron supplement.
Hello, I bought some three arrows simply heme iron supplement and now they’ve arrived I’m wondering when to take them to fit with my other meds / supplements. I take levothyroxine through the night, when up for the loo. I take T3 first thing in the morning, at lunch and before bed. I take other supplements

These are my latest results, I will be restarting my B12 injections as my symptoms have come back and that made me want to retest. The levels have dropped quite a lot and quite quickly considering the last time I had them done they were well over 2000! I'm speaking to my Endo tomorrow as I have a

New prescription of ERFA with levo decrease
Hi everyone I've recently had my first consult with a recommended Endo on TUK list and also some people in my local thyroid group. Mostly good reviews but one person unhappy with him. He's putting me on NDT as says I'm not converting FT4 to FT3 as I suspected. So sorry its so long, I've tried to ask

Advice T3 vs TSH levels
Hi All - I've been following advice on supplements and timing of tests but NHS has problems with results and need advice as what to do - I take Armour NDT with Levo. Haven't had a conversation with them about it, changing practices and moving back to the states for a period of time but will be back

Advice needed (again) from you lovely people
Me again. I’m so sorry for the long post, thank you so much if you get to the end. Advice from lovely people on this forum ~7 years ago was great and I can’t thank them enough. I pushed for my GP to investigate further and although she disagreed my B12 was poor (it scraped into the range when the GP

I keep changing dose, feeling better, then having a flare-up of mysterious symptoms, then feeling worse again.
I (31F) was diagnosed with Hashimoto's exactly one year ago. Before then, I spent 2 years trying to convince public healthcare that I was having hypothyroid symptoms, but my TSH kept coming back at 2.5 so they dismissed me. In August 2023 I saw a private endo and she put me on levo as my TSH came back

Thiamine [Vit. B1] plus Pregabalin update
Hi to all. When researching "natural remedies" for RLS, one could end up taking a multitude of supplements etc and most likely with little/no effect. [I do take magnesium - not sure if it helps RLS but it should help to some degree with general soreness - i'm a PT and train myself 3-4 times a week].

documenting changes
so I had been struggling with a flare up in my rls since starting HRT 2 months ago and although the estrogen may be the cause I want to document what’s going on to look back at. So the last 4 days it seems to be easing off but I can’t pinpoint why. Things iv realised : when I started HRT , I also started

On 60 mgs, potassium low, magnesium low, cramps, dizzy, fatigue ,the runs etc...
Due to reduce to 40mgs tomorrow but really feeling very strange, balance off, BP low for me, I'm on 2 x meds for BP which are contraindicated with steroids as should increase BP?? The symptoms are consistent with low potassium levels (call from hospital to tell me that) but worsening. Eating everything

Hi Guys, New to this forum but have 7 years tackling & experimenting with nutrition for Hashimotos. With a keen background in nutrition I was determined to address it with this and avoid any thyroid drug interaction if possible. My antibodies were as high as 3500 at worst and are now 528 and dropping

My latest blood results
Following my last post with my hypo blood results, my extreme tiredness has been officially diagnosed as, Exhaustion! I was quite relieved that it wasn't anything else like my heart or other. Anyway, to be sure, my Doc ordered a blood test, which included at least 13 items. I got the results on Tuesday

Supplement overkill?
Hello, after my cancelled egg collection I am now going privately. During this time I’ve read ‘it starts with the egg’ and as I am 33 with an AFC of 4 and AMH of 3. something I started taking everything! Now I’m worried it is a bit overkill and also it’s really expensive. I know it’s hard for someone

3 week Update
Well 3 weeks in on multiple vitamin supplementation. Helen feels she's sleeping better (she seems to be easier to get up but still feels yucky. She generally manages to get a little bit more done but we've been undone by a 4 year 3 month £600 Miele washing machine dying on us which meant a distress purchase
