RLS and PILM early symptoms
Hello, I joined this forum to help support my partner who has had RLS and PILM for years and we both gain such a lot of help here. He’s currently taking Pregablin, three weeks in. I seem to be starting with similar symptoms (oh joy!) which were mild but now getting worse. I was wondering what advice

Medication in the UK
Hi, As per RLS posts I have finally got around to requesting a ferritin level check, full iron panel from my GP in the UK. I also have changed from ropinirole to pramipexole and because that change didn't work the GP has said to double the dose of pramipexole being taken, which I will do as desperate

Hi, I have an appointment with my GP in 6 days. I’m very nervous as I am really poor at self advocacy. I am autistic and have ADHD and this makes appointments really hard. I have loads of information from here which should help. I am currently getting 5hrs sleep a night on average and I wake up with

Hashimotos, Hiatus Hernia & acid reflux
I have been taking levothyroxine for over 30 years…just had my 70th birthday. In March 2023 after a severe covid cough I developed symptoms of acid reflux. The doctor prescribed Omeprazole followed by Lansoprazole & H2 blockers. I had bad side effects from both ppi’s, stomach pains, weight loss, brain

Having a bad one today. Thunderstorms and wind yesterday, more rain today. Headache and body pain. Took an arthritis Tylenol, magnesium and malic acid and it hasn’t subsided. ☹️. After I’ve had something to eat, I’ll take an Advil. 🤞😶🌫️

B12 Injections
Hello, I have been feeling quite unwell with intense fatigue and a myriad of other issues since January 2023. I have sibo and gastritis. My b12 and folate were checked and my folate came back at 2.7 which is low. My b12 however looked ok at around 500. I began to supplement with folinic acid (800mcg

New erfa trial with levo - very worried about endo prescription and pharmacy NDT info. Please can anyone help?
Edit - endo says take ERFA 30mg OD - I don't even know what OD means? Assume every day 30mg but pharmacy are saying its double that I think? Hi I recently consulted an endo which was recommended by local thyroid patients so thought would try rather than go it alone as v ill atm. I've been taking 112mcg

Help Needed with my Levo Dose
I was diagnosed as hypothyroid at the end of last year. My GP started me on 50mcg levothyroxine. She increased this to 75mcg in March, then to 100mcg (at my request) in July. I've now been on that dose for 7 weeks and just took a private test (following the standard protocol) with MMH so that I know

My positive experience with B1 Therapy
I started the B1 therapy in October 2023 (was diagnosed with YOPD in February 2023) following the protocol written on the book “Parkinson’s and the B1 Therapy” by Daphne Bryan. For the past 10 months, it has been helping me controlling symptoms such as extreme tiredness, lack of balance, dystonia, rigidity
