Thinning crepey skin - since subtle changes
So I’ve noticed my skin on my arms and thighs especially is suddenly looking old, dehydrated, crepey and old suddenly (I am 60 this year) but this is suddenly much worse and I don’t like it! All I’ve done different in the last 6 weeks is increase Levo by 12.5mcg (fist increase ever), added one 1000iu

Help with blood test results, heart palpitations, and T3 question
I have Hashimotos and have a new GP. I've been feeling frequent heart palpitations and am wondering if I am over-medicated. A few years ago, after two years of desperate tiredness when my then GP kept switched my levothyroxine doses up and down between 50 - 75 - 100mcg depending on my TSH reading,

I suffer with IBS-C. Can normally manage it ok with laxatives or magnesium supplement. Recently started taking laxido recommended by my chemist. I had the worst ever bowel movement today, it took almost two hours to go. To say I am sore is an understatement. Can anyone offer any advice on how to make

Test results
Hello, I was wondering if I could get some help with my test results. I can see I have elevated CRP which may be caused by my diabetes and it is something which was elevated about 3 years ago - cause unknown. Also I can see I have high antibodies - which was why I did a prvt test in the first place as

Chapter 17. I dream of the revolution that must come... 2/2.
This is chapter 17 of a book I published in 2015, "A Different Way of Looking at Parkinson's. Almost 20 years of experience with my father's disease (1994-2012)" (only in Spanish). Although we have learned a lot more since that year, I think it can still be useful to most sufferers and family members

Omeprazole
Hi there - I was very interested to read recent posts headed Ectopic heartbeats from "Britishgas" - as other posts then started discussing Omeprazole (Pearipile-55 and Smileyian etc). 5 months ago, after attending A&E I was diagnosed with Atrial Flutter and subsequently advised to take anti-coagulant

Help with weaning off Pramipexole (newbie)
I always find it difficult to explain my restless legs to someone who has not experienced it before. I don’t think people really understand how bad it can be to live with RLS. It is not something you can see and you do not look sick. You just look weird not being able to sit still. For me, the best way

Hashimoto and covid muscle/ joint aches
Hello lovely community. A while ago I was asking you all about your suggestions for muscle aches. Well it turns out that my issues have been as a result of covid which left a lingering trail much like when we are not correctly dosed with thyroid meds. Having covid definitely raised my thyroid antibodies
