Tapering and adrenal side effects?
Has anyone struggled with diarrhea most days when tapering. Sort of started about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I’m currently at 6 mg with a split dose at 5 mg in the morning and 1 mg in the evening. Is this one of the signs of adrenal insufficiency, by chance? I stopped taking Prilosec since some people have posted

magnesium and deficiencies
Hello! Can anyone recommend a magnesium supplement ? And has it been any help ? I have been told I could have a deficiency due to the PPIs which could be the cause of the cramps I’ve been having. Does anyone also have any problems with their eyes relating to deficiency’s?

Concerned Wife
Hi, hope this is OK to post. My husband has had mild RLS for many years but last weekend his symptoms suddenly became extreme and constant, seemingly out of the blue. For context, he is 30, and has taken antidepressants for many years without any increase in symptoms. He has also been taking amipiprazole

Help changing from nighttime Levo to morning please.
Hello.I am currently taking my 75mg of Levo at night but I find it's keeping me awake and it's interfering with when I take my magnesium so I'm thinking of taking it in the morning instead but I'm not sure how I do that. I had my last dose at 9.45pm so should I start tomorrow morning or do I have to

MAGNESIUM
Hi, can anyone give me advice on magnesium supplements. I have been taking Magnesium Citrate for a while for Paroxymal atrial fibrillation. Is it better to take Magnesium glycinate instead. Any advice welcome. Many thanks.

magnesium type and dosage
I've had RLS for some years now. I did take requip, but my insurance no longer covers it. I am new to these sites. I am so thankful for a place to discuss this terrible condition. I recently read that magnesium helps. I started taking it at night and it had helped immensely. I am not sure which

Timing of NDT doses
I will be switching from Levothyroxine to NDT in the next few weeks. How do people manage to eat if we need to split the dose into 2 separate times, and leave 2 hours either side of taking an NDT dose, particularly avoiding magnesium, calcium and iron? So for example 9am breakfast followed by supplements

Afib has gone persistent
it seems my AF has gone persistent now on day 15 with it 24/7 heart rate constantly going up to 150 just sitting in house, verapamil is taking it down a little to 90/110 but not always. What is the chance of me self converting? I take everything magnesium, d-ribose taurine, vit C all the the B’s. I

Supplement schedule query - which should be taken apart from others?
Hello! I've been SI since late 2017, but have changed my co-factor (and other) supplement regime over time - including recently re-introducing folinic acid, having become folate deficient. I've always had low ferritin and months ago started Simply Heme iron supplements, which are supposed to be easier

RLS - Q&A
Hi RLS survivors I am continuing my Pregabalin journey and wanted to check in with this community to ask out loud various questions circling around my head. The good news is that Pregabalin is making a difference. I get some relief from jumpy legs at night even on a low dose (75mg) What I am experiencing

My Efforts to Educate the Scientific Community
I have written an article about my RLS experience which I have been working to disseminate in the medical and research communities. The bulk of the article follows: The medical community is generally unaware of the benefit of a low oxalate diet for treatment of RLS. In 2015, after 5 years of closely

Nothing is working! I’m not asking for advice I’m just feeling sorry for myself.
My girl is 8. She is hyper, extremely defiant, immature, LOUD, obnoxious, and has no impulse control. Honestly, I think she may be a narcissist. Can you tell at 8? I can’t leave her alone because any time I do she at best makes huge messes which she never cleans up but usually destroys things that are

Epsom Salt and essential oils foot soak query
just a quick enquiry. I bought these lovely Epsom salts to give myself a relaxing foot soak but then read the list of essential oils and thought they might not be so good after all. 🤦♀️ I take flecainide, bisoprolol, warfarin and levothyroxine. Do foot soaks mean you absorb a lot of the essential

Zoplicone and RLS
I take a sleeping pill every 3 or 4 nights to escape from insomnia. I also take gabapentin , 1200 mg ,which does largely quieten my legs. But recently when taking Zoplicone, I wake after 6 or 7 hours of refreshing sleep to get quite a bad attack of RLS. More than I ever experience as I don't suffer too

Hiya, I was wondering if anyone knows of anything that can help symptoms from fibromyalgia, anything that isn't hard medication, I have heard cod liver oil, tumeric and magnesium. I want to know any thoughts on this or anything else that people have found that works. Anything and information at all
