Since my last post I have seen a private thyroid GP and have been prescribed T3 I took 15mg per day for 3 months and although it lowered my TSH levels the T3 levels remained the same and my T4 levels actually decreased! So my T3 was upped to 30mg per day recently (split into Am & Pm 15mg doses) T4 remaining at 100mg in the morning.
I have been taking Vit b complex, magnesium & Vit D spay daily and my levels are now starting to look better.
No change in symptoms ( lethargic, exercise intolerance, cold hand & feet, brain fog)
I have had the results back from a iron test and wondered if I need to supplement, although the most results are within range they are at the low end.
all bloods taken around 9am and no medication on the morning of tests.
Hopefully the increase in T3 may start to kick in soon.
Thanks again.

Were these results AFTER last increase to 30mg per day recently (split into Am & Pm 15mg doses) T4 remaining at 100mg in the morning.
Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
On T3 - day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day with last dose 8-12 hours before test
possibly need increase in levothyroxine to 112.5mcg daily or even to 125mcg daily
Given that your result is 35% through the range and you are female I would say your result is a little on the low side.
TIBC (total iron binding capacity) or Transferrin
• Low in range indicates lack of capacity for additional iron
• High in range indicates body's need for supplemental iron
Your TIBC is 46% through the range and your transferrin is 14% through the range, both of which are in the lower half of the range. This suggests that you don't have the capacity for more iron.
Ferritin : 122
Optimal for ferritin depends on source. Some people aim for mid-range which is 96 for your range. Other suggestions are 90 - 110 ng/mL .
So over all I would say that although your serum iron is very slightly below optimal you don't have capacity for more iron via a supplement and added iron rich foods would be the way forward.
