Connection between coeliac and gallstones?
Hi, I've been posting on the Restless Leg Syndrome forum, asking if anyone has experienced wheat making their RLS worse. In the course of this I had an American user saying that her coeliac disease had been brought on by gallbladder removal, which I'd never heard of. When I queried this she gave me some

Pacemakers and Golf
I had a pacemaker fitted about 18 months ago and an AV Node Ablation 6 weeks ago. Is there any reason why I cannot get back on the golf course. I am worried that the action of swinging the club could adversely affect the pacemaker wires. Is there any golfers in the forum who can comment on this?

Hi Ladies,
I found out I had breast cancer in sept 17, I had 6 rounds of chemo, docetaxol and EC which shrunk the tumour, then I had a therapeutic mammoplasty and
lymph
node
removal
. A Routine CT scan followed and then came the news in March that it had moved to my bones, spine, pelvis, hips.

I'm new here
Last 5th July 2018 I had a Pacemaker implanted and next 10th August 2018 I am to have the second procedure, AV Node Ablation. In 2000 I had a Mechanical Mitral Valve installed and since then have had problems with AFib. There were 6 successful Cardio Versions, successful for awhile anyway. My cardiologist

Endo post hysterectomy or ovaries removal
Hello all. I'm new to the forum but a sufferer for oh so many years now. My question is this. Even though each case is as unique as it can be, has anyone here had a hysterectomy or removed ovaries and tubes to tell me of their post op adventures? Was the endo eliminated?

Buserelin : How long until it works?
I'm in week 3 of my, pre oophorectomy, 3 month stint and so far, though I've had no side effects, I've also not noticed any relief at all. I've been scouring the internet for information but I can't find out how long the drug takes to kick in. The leaflet is next to useless and I don't want to have to

ICSI success
Never thought we'd get this far, but goes to show it is possible! 8 months pregnant now, and I'm so lucky and grateful. Just 2 frozen blastos from a mega batch egg collection. The first failed, and the second one took. Maybe my polyp removal helped, or maybe it was just a stronger egg, who knows. The

Hi I have been reading this site for such a long time and today, whilst I relax on a sunbed in Greece, I read something that made me post. I feel like I have lived with pain for such a long time. I have so much anger inside me! 10 years ago my periods became extremely painful. For 8 years, after countless

Well that was a surprise - hydration
Had cardiac review a week past Friday, and as I had haematology the following Wednesday asked for the blood test for that be done at same time. Cardiac review required a fasting blood test. Got result, HCT of 0.46 so booked a venesection an hour before my haematologist appointment. In the meantime

Pace and Ablate
I had my Pacemaker fitted May 07 of this year. Then went on to have the AV Node Ablation June 28th. Just wondering if any one else has gone through this ? Did it improve your day to day living ? Are you able to live a better quality of life ?

Lymphedemajourney
I’ve just had a flare up of my secondary lymphedema due to radical mastectomy and 14
lymph
node
removal
. It will be 2 years May 16, 2018 since my surgery. I’ve been able to control lymphedema with compression sleeve. But now I’ve had this flare up—swelling, upper arm & elbow redness & hot.

Wondering if I need to up my ERFA dose after surgery?
I had surgery nearly 3 weeks ago under GA for removal go ovarian cyst and a cervical polypectomy. I've recovered from the affects of the GA and my surgical wounds have healed, but I'm not feeling great. Tired and gaining weight very easily. I'm currently taking Erfa Thyroid. I take 90mg in the morning

Hi, this morning, I sent an email to my cardiologist, through his web page, he replied within minutes! I asked him to refer me to an electrophysiologist to discuss the merits or demerits of an AV node ablation. He has agreed to do so and will contact him today. I live near Taunton, in Somerset. Ablations
