Aching joints with Hashimoto's
I've had Hashimoto's since I was 14 (am now 47). I'm on 150mcg levo. Levels are all good - high in range for T4 and T3, vitamin levels all good (D near 100 where I feel good). Gluten free diet. But still I have aching joints and muscle pains all of the time. There is a not a day when I am pain free.

Green smoothies
I thought I'd try green smoothies as a substitute for
lutein
containing veg. Can anyone recommend the best juice for this? and dosage? I am also diabetic, so very sweet smoothies are out. Ann with the Hat

Help with blood test results - taking too much levothyroxine?
Hello, I just got my results back (I'm still waiting for folate) from my latest blood test after starting levothyroxine earlier this year. I wasn't able to get a full thyroid panel (I'm overseas and it's not offered here) but I'm hoping you can give me some advice based on my results. I'm wondering if

Gluten Free / anti-bodies
Hi. For the last 5 months I've been gluten free, as I was trying to reduce my thyroid anti-bodies. In May they were TPO 79, and it's now 70. The TG was 616 and is now 520. To me that's not a lot of difference, and I feel no different. I admit there are more options at the shops these days, but eating

Life after pramipraxole
I got off pramipaxiole a little less than a month ago. Withdrawal was hell but worth it. My life has greatly improved. I am working on a a very low sugar and gluten-free diet. My sleep has improved so much! I do think diet is very important with this condition. Life can be good again, but it is hard

No light at the end of the tunnel!
Haven’t been on here for a while. It’s reassuring that I’m not the only one out there, although it feels that way sometimes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I see no light at the end of the tunnel. I have had so many invasive tests done, including simple blood tests that show absolutely nothing

TSH perfectly normal ! ?
Hello again. Well, I paid to see the endo today and what people said would happen did happen. He was fixated on numbers as usual and didn't really listen to symptoms. The first words were, 'Why do you think you need an endocrinologist' . Well, that sort of opening line always throws me, why is it

Treating Itp with Herbal Supplements
Hi! I'm a newbie here! I came aboard to find a natural way to treat Itp. Since Prednisone isn't cutting it. Dexamethasone and Eltrombopag also didn't take. The Doctor's want to try rituximab next and I'm a little bit leary of that one. Then of course, if that doesn't work, they'll want to take my spleen

Help! FT3 below reference range despite increased dosage during pregnancy
Hi, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis in 2015 and has been taking Levothyroxine ever since. I started a gluten-free diet nearly 2 years ago. Before I found I was pregnant, my dosage was 75mcg/day. And the last blood test before pregnancy was: TSH 0.93 (0.35-5.5 mIU/L) FT4 15.4 (10-20 pmol

Recommended a gluten free diet
Hello fellow IVF warriors 💪 Hope you’re okay. I’m so pleased it’s the weekend! I went to try my first session of acupuncture last night and the therapist looked at other aspects of my life as she likes to treat patients holistically. She recommended I go gluten free as there is some evidence gluten
