Testosterone Replacement Therapy ????
I am now almost over 5.5 years since my last
Lupron
injection and have had undetectable PSA for almost 7 years. My testosterone recovered to greater than 200 in late 2019. For 2.5 years testosterone continued to climb up to over 400 but then started to decline about 2 years ago.

Rising PSA with little shown on PSMA PET
I followed that up with Casodex,
Lupron
, and radiation via Rapidarc. Jumping ahead a bit, I stayed on
Lupron
and Casodex (oh yeah, and Finisteride for a year or two), and that held me until 2018.

If PSA is Suppressed by Doublet ADT, Will Salvage IMRT Cause a PSA Rise?
My question is that, since he is already undetectable due to
Lupron
/Abi/Pred, would the radiation treatment cause a psa rise despite being on the hormone therapy.? We last tested psa in early March just before the radiation started and it was undetectable.

Any experience with Xtandi (enzolutamide).
Short story is the PC metastasized to the brain and they added Xtandi to the
Lupron
shots , as it's the only drug that will go to the brain. It seems to be working, Scans and PSA are where they should be and symptoms are more discouraging than debilitating.

Triplet and now Radiation?
Original PSA was around 9 and put on Casodex for month, then
Lupron
every 3 months, plus Darolutamide. Just completed 6 sessions of chemo with Docetaxel. Got call from RO yesterday and they want to do radiation now. Of course I trust my medical team but curious of HU opinions on this path.

Disappointed
After
Lupron
, NUBEQA and Zytega … and a recent FDG Cat scan Several nodes lit up in the periodonal aorta area of his abdomen. Being totally right up against the aorta, a decision was made to remove them robotically. Surgery went well. All lymph’s were removed that lit up on the scan.

Dad,83 - is biopsy necessary ?
Went to an oncologist who said to do a PSMA and then to start him on
Lupron
and bicalutamide. And maybe radiation for the bone met pain. He said he did not really need him to do a biopsy as treatment would not change but if WE wanted to we could.

UC San Fran
But could Jim get his
Lupron
and bloodwork out of state. We were told you have to be a permanent California resident to be treated at UCSF. I thought a person could travel to any hospital for treatment as long as they were willing to travel and had the insurance.

Rising PSA
Recently while on
Lupron
& NUBEQA PSA continues to rise. Now at 10.1 and Testosterone nondectable. PSMA/PET/CT scan last weeks states no metastases present. We meet with Dr. Aggarwal next week. Last month at our visit he told us at this point “Scans” are the compass not PSA readings.

Question for Oncologist
Tall_Allen, if you are around, I would especially appreciate your thoughts…….my husband, Dave is still on
Lupron
/Zytiga/Pred for M1a pc. only in a few abdominal nodes per PSMA scan. He just completed IMRT and was undetectable two weeks ago.

PSA Dropped after 22 days of Zytiga
Abiraterone and Prednisone was added to
Lupron
. On November 3 I had a
Lupron
shot and started Abiraterone and Prednisone on November 10. Today I had a PSA test. My PSA dropped from 0.8 on November 1 to 0.44 today. I was not expecting such dramatic fall in PSA after only 22 days of Abiraterone .

Rising PSA … Clear PSMA SCAN
hubby has been on
Lupron
& NUBEQA since April. At first it brought PSA down but now it is up to 6.5 His last PSMA SCAN was in October when PSA was 4.3 Next PSMA scan is mid January. Aggarwal says PSA # is no longer of much value. The scans are what we will now go by.

Orgovyx causing more brain fog than Lupron
I switched over 5 weeks ago and have been experiencing more cognitive aphasia and adverse spatial awareness issues(clumsiness). Will these issues settle down over time? Anybody else notice this?

Experiencing possible neuropathy in my trunk
I am on
Lupron
(first shot was in March) and abiraterone and prednisone daily. PSA has plummeted and doing good. Prepping for chemo in May. This past Wednesday I started feeling some discomfort in my front and back. It's hard to explain.
