Lupron

On Lupron, Abiraterone and Prednisone. My Liver enzymes are starting to rise. Anyone else have this reaction and how was it handled?

Did 28 days of Casodex then 3 months of Lupron received another injection last month. PSA now .02 and husband tried Zytiga in past month and went off due to High BP. Onco says no vacation because data does not favor it... but on here I have read otherwise... All input greatly appreciated.

Had last Lupron on 06/03/22 and AIS never booked a three month appt, so I got it today. Maybe that was part of the PSA rise. Hmmm 2.8 on June 2, 2022 3.6 4.1 4.2 5.0 5.3 They gave me a private suite as all of the chemo bays were occupied.

For over four years, I had been on what I called my "holy trinity", Erleada, Lupron and Xgeva. All of a sudden, I started experiencing a lot of dizziness. My PCP thought it was dehydration; so I hydrated more. Still dizzy.

Ultimately, given my treatment decisions (RP w single nerve sparing, plus sRT IMRT and 21 months ADT Lupron), I would have moved much sooner to an IPP (inflatable penile implant) and not suffered permanent damage to my penile tissue.

Lupron treatment( hormone therapy). MRI/CT Scan one week before SRBT radiation treatment. SRBT radiation treatment (imaging guided and 5 visits). Does not include the visit for the placement of the markers. Onward!

Wasn’t doing too good with lupron before Nubeua stopped extending because of side effects.

Hi all, Need thoughts on whether my physician is on the right track recommending only 6 months of ADT (Lupron). I'm early 60s and very fit. Just completed salvage radiation to PB and PLN and 6-month Lupron shot. Radiation therapy began 6 months following RALP.

What are the consequences of discontinuing a Lupron regimen? Can the body ever restore its previous levels of testosterone?

Beginning around 11/01/2017, androgen ablation along with chemotherapy was initiated; which included lupron, casodex, zytiga, prednisone, neulista, and Lu177-PSMA (prostate specific membrane antigen).

On Lupron, and after 3 months, the hair on my head started to grow and fill in! Radiation Nurse says strange hair things happen now and then, like hair of a different color. He says it does not necessarily revert back. I am happy about the hair growth!

My dad has been on zometa and Lupron and his PSA has been undetectable. He got a new doctor and they want to take him off the zometa and put him on prolia. Why would they do it? I have read awful things about prolia! update: my dad is stage IV, mets everywhere.

I resumed treatment with Lupron and told my oncologist in Clearwater Fl that I wanted to go with Lupron and Zytiga ( learned about this from heathunlocked). My PSA went from 77 in November 2017 to being undetectable . It has remained so as of my last test aug 2022.

the last cycle I took lupron before my transfer and it lead to a positive but chemical. any advice would be great

I stopped taking lupron 6mo ago hoping that was the biggest culprit. Last blood test still showsT <12. I take 500mg of zytiga and 5mg of prednisone. Ironically, I had my first psa rise from .6 to 2.7 the last 6 weeks, ~20 week mark. I use 2 pumps, 1.5mg of estrogen per day.

My oncologist said that if PSA level is <1, then there is no need for a 2nd lupron jab, which is good news.

Has anyone switched from using Lupron (or any 1st or 2nd level ADT, such as Firmagon, abiraterone, etc.) directly to transdermal E2? 2. Has anyone who has used it eventually become castrate resistant, as with ADT? 3.

My father did 10 days radiation to lumbar spine and pelvis, is doing ADT (zytiga,Lupron) as well the xgeva. He just did his first round of taxotere last week and we’re gonna get him through the 6 rounds, god willing. What’s typically the next step after chemo? Does he then do immunotherapy?

Used zytiga, xtandi, erlida, and nubeqa and all developed resistant and started Chemo, Docetaxel last July and continue Lupron and Xgeva.Any advice is really appreciated. Thank you immensely.

treatment recommended. 2020 to 2022: PSA drops off to undetectable and life continues. 2022 May to August: PSA rises and doubles in a 3 month period to 0.14. 2022 August: PSMA test confirms cancer is very lightly in 5x Lymph nodes in the pelvic area Oncologist treatment is the following: Start ADT Lupron
