The only effective treatment I found in 16 years on ADT was estrogen patches, 0.1mg/24 hr one per week. I have just stopped taking them after this long period and have had only one hot flash.

I use 0.1 mg/day estrogen patches. Never had a hot flash. I don't know what the non-e hot flash # would be.

On 0.3-0.4 mg/day estrogen patches, my T went castrate, I remember having some hot flashes but as I recall none of them were more than a minor nuisance.

I took Megesrtrol, also called Magace For years but I read several places it feeds the cancer my MO says it does but my urologist says no . One thing I do know it quashed the hot flashes.
