Lupron and prostate cancer

hi everyone. im a 67 year old man taking Lupron hormone deprivation for prostate cancer. i finished receiving 20 external beam radiation treatments in August 2023. the Lupron injections are quarterly and will continue for 18-24 months. my interest in sex has completely dropped off. i assume this is normal. im ok with that because i want to live and enjoy my children and grandchildren. i hope to hear from others

I hear you ..it’s normal … here it’s tough people talk a lot of details but not all of us are up to speed or learning.. for me major lack of sex drive or response at 56 … and I masterbated or had sex every day … Now 5 months out on ADT nothing .. sad … expect that to change quickly once I stop have a post asking for feedback on breast enlargement.. life is grand !

Yes, you can be assured that the loss of interest in sex as a result of the Lupron injections is completely normal, since your testosterone levels fall off a cliff as a result of the Lupron. Lots of men on here in a similar situation as you.
