Tired, sick-feeling, slightly unsteady?
Abiraterone, prednisone,
Lupron
, radiation. My PSA levels remain low and steady. However, for the last few weeks I have felt weaker than normal, slightly nauseated, and a little unsteady when walking. Pretty much all day long. Does anyone know if this is "normal?"

ADT w/ Heart History
Radiation Oncologist suggests 30 days of casodex, followed by
Lupron
injection, then 25 EBRT sessions, followed by 1.5-3 years of ADT, per NCCN guidelines. But referred to Medical Oncologist. Today MO scared about
Lupron
given heart disease. Referring to another cardiologist for consult.

Need advice- MO recommending radiation. From the wording in the PSMA scan it sounds like a shot in the dark.
Overall, scan showed
Lupron
/Erleada was helping. MO is continuing him on Erleada and go back in 2 months. But wanted him to pursue radiation as it might help. ????

Effect of Baseline T on T-Recovery Time
Here's a plot of % of Men who recover their baseline testosterone after stopping ADT (
Lupron
), as a function of ADT duration for two different groups: (A) men who had a
normal
baseline testosterone (red line), and (B) men who had a
low
baseline testosterone (green line).

Insomnia
Curious, what is the biggest culprit causing chronic insomnia in my diet
Lupron
, Zytiga, or Prednisone No matter what time I go to sleep 9,10, or 11. I wake at 3 o'clock every morning. Might be able to grab another hour sometimes. Tried Magnesium L-Threonate, Melatonin, Chamomile tea.

Xtandi already failing? How is this possible
He also got another
lupron
shot today and it’s been over three months since he received one, maybe that’s why his psa increased? I don’t know. This isn’t good though and my anxiety is starting to get the best of me. Any advice?

Switching from prednisone to dexamethasone with abiraterone
Lupron
plus abiraterone with prednisone have maintained my PSA < 0.1 (from 111 at DX) for over 4 years. I have all the usual SEs, and some seem to be cumulative (specifically fatigue and BP). I'm CSMPC with one known bone met on upper spine.

New To The Thread
I’m doing the triplet treatments with
Lupron
, Nubeqa, and taxotere (for chemo). My med oncologist has called it the STAMPEDE trial, although I’m not actually in a trial. I was diagnosed last August and recently finished chemo. I’m still on ADT.

PSA keeps rising
Would a few weeks delay in commencing
lupron
shots or radiation make any difference? Thanks for any advice.

Nausea
My current prescribed
Lupron
is only for 6 months, 2 ea 90-day shots, but I understand it can take some time before
Lupron
leaves your system. I know many of you have been on this ADT treatment for much longer

Low PSA producing PCa. MO discontinued Abi +Pred. Is this right?
Started on
Lupron
right away. Abi and pred started when PSA went to .26 a year after surgery. We’re in Florida for a few months and went to Moffit for a second opinion. Doctor took him off abi and pred right away (he’d been on for 2 months).

New G10 to the group
Honestly kind of shocked and planning on at least 2 years of
Lupron
/Zytiga before taking a break. Just wanted to get feedback from others. Thanks !

Is it normal taking lupron shots and after awhile doesn’t work?
Since his psa was raising he decided to take
Lupron
and at the beginning was working but his last psa it doubled. We don’t know if there’s anything else that it would help him. Any suggestions?

PSA and Images all stable for 4.5 years.
Lupron
and Zytiga stopped until either chemical or image progression shows up. The goal is to rebuild the lost muscle and possible lose some of the other SE's -Fatigue and brain fog being most annoying. My question is about backing off from the 5mg Prednisone that I've used for almost 5 years.

Pluvicto Update
I'm also taking Xtandi and of course the beloved
Lupron
. I think it has been better tolerated than Docetaxel but the fatigue may be worse. Not sure if Pluvicto is to blame or the Xtandi. I am very weak and tire easily. I did walk a mile the other day but I was wiped out afterwords.

Same Question Again…
My husband began with Gleason 8. 2017 Prostate removed. 2018… 39 rounds of Radiation… after 18 months of No PSA , it began climbing and he started Casodex and
Lupron
. He has had two “vacations” from meds.

Update
He still and will continue to receive
Lupron
every 6 months. However, this last round of
Lupron
(without the Jevtana) brought extreme side effects. This is the 1st time in this 5+ year battle he's had to take Hydrocodon for the joint pain and swelling. It was a crisis for sure.
