Serum vs. tissue T3 levels
My thanks to DippyDame and others for your cogent analyses of serum T3 levels vs. tissue T3 levels. I have been self-dosing T3 for many years (stumbled upon its existence accidentally on an Internet website; a subsequent query, "Dosing T3," led me to Paul Robinson's most valuable books. Liothyronine over or under.
Is it possible that too much liothyronine may stall weight loss please. I have been on liothyronine only 60mcg daily for at least ten years it was 80 before that. I suffered two mini strokes in July and was given a blood thinner told to stay active and lose weight and despite strict low carb walking

Trying to understand appetite / cravings
I have an advanced background in human nutrition but am totally new to thyroid issues and am trying to understand something. I've noticed since I've been treated (T4 and T3 split tid) that at times I am hungrier than usual. I understand the increased metabolism from thyroid correction, but is there anything

Lost, confused, worried - trying to conceive and thyroid/lining/progesterone issues
Looking for some help/guidance/support. Apologies in advance for the long post. My husband and I, both 31 and healthy, have been trying to conceive for a year now with no success. We've both had a number of tests and through my own reading and persistent private re-testing have identified my thyroid

Coolness in feet, legs and one side of neck - Could it be nerve healing?
Hi and thanks for reading my post! I'm approaching 1 year of B12 injections and in the last week or two I've been having some occasional coolness in my feet, and sometimes in my lower legs up to my knee. The coolness in my feet sometimes starts as an almost burning pain in my right outer toes. It

Expiration date
After reading about the (supposed?) shortage of B12 in UK, I, too, am wondering if PanPharma’s shortened expiration date from 2 years to one year has contributed to this perceived shortage. Have we gotten the final answer on why PanPharma shortened their expiry date? Does anyone know if the inactive

LCHF/Keto junk food
Hi all. How's everyone doing? Not normally one for any processed food at all, I have been uncharacteristically buying some keto "junk food" recently. This (ridiculously expensive!!) loaf of keto bread, made mainly of almonds and eggs, is actually really good, and very low carb at 3.5g per 100g.

Luforbec
Hi All, New to the forum and just wondered if anyone is having a problem after being switched from Fostair to Luforbec? I got changed over in December and got very chesty, run down and a lot of mucus production that wouldn't shift. My peak flow dropped about 80 points. I'm not breathless but get out

Food Sensitivities
Any advice on working out food sensitivities? I did the “Happy Gut” diet a couple of years ago which is low FODMAP, vegan and gluten-free. I felt great on it initially and was starting to reintroduce foods when I became really anaemic and had to stop (I don’t think vegan is for me!). I have recently

Timing of XGeva & Radium 223.
My husband is due to start Radium 223 treatments at Stanford. His oncologist wants him to also start XGeva. The XGeva injections were postponed until after he had dental crown work done. He had an appointment for that on 2/6 which has been delayed because he tested + for Covid. His rescheduled appointment

Symptoms and possible colon cancer?
At least 10 yrs ago I had a primary physician tell me I most likely have IBS. My bowel movements were always large and I always thought how in the world can a women produce such long logs in a BM. Three months ago in June, I spent two days in the hospital with what the doctors diagnosed as Hyponatremia

Paralysed Brother diagnosed with severe heart failure, scared and confused as constantly getting conflicting information
DB was taken to hospital last week suffering severe breathlessness and erratic heartbeat. He is paralysed following a spinal cord injury 7 years ago. Upon admission he was also discovered to have low sodium and calcium and "deranged bloods". I live very far away and so called the hospital every day
