Hi I am now living in France from U.K. I have been on sera tide 500 x 2 puffs a day for years. For my asthma. I also have mild bronchiectasis. My lung capacity has gradually reduced over recent years. Peak flow used to be 250 but recently below 180. My doctor in France said seratide was old fashioned

Mad mood swings
I’m also realising that every time I’m alone I get depressed and my
mood
gets super
low
. I have suicidal thoughts. I don’t know what happened but it almost like something broke and I’m unable to get well. Usually I experience mood swings before my period and I manage them ok.

Can I challenge GP, if so, when?
Mood
is still
low
, very tired in the afternoon, trouble sleeping, pins and needles especially in left hand. I started taking a multivitamin tablet just over a month ago but other than that nothing has changed. If I still don't feel well after 6 weeks of lower dose can I challenge the GP?

ULTRASOUND RESULTS - THERE IS A NODULE WHICH IS PAINFUL - CAN ANYONE HELP?
Hello everyone Apologies at the outset because this is long but I am very worried and would be very grateful to anyone who reads this and can advise me. I had an ultrasound scan of my thyroid gland last Tuesday. My thyroid antibodies have never been out of range - my last test in March this year

Gadgets
I think this is all the gadgets I have acquired since I cut back on carbohydrates. My favourite and the most used is the mortar and pestle (the world's original gadget?). I use it almost every day, and sometimes stroke it when I walk past. It's beautiful. The most essential is the hand blender

Have I told you lately...I hate PMR!
No gardening in this lovely spring weather, and
low
mood
.... oh well, I blame this flare on my Covid jab, which I would take anyway, since the flare is better than Covid... have others heard or experienced flare beginning 10 days or so..post jab?

'Interesting' Endo Appointment Yesterday!!
So, my much awaited endocrinologist appointment finally came yesterday. I took my husband with me, as he has a far more science based brain than me, and can remember all the articles I've given him to read (I read and can't seem to retain information these days. Anyway, I had printed out all my thyroid

I was just wondering if anyone else is finding problems breathing. I’ve used my ventolin and it was better for a minute or two but now it’s difficult to breathe again. My peak flow I’snt too bad. It’s about 400.

Nightmare on Elm Street
Feeling no anxiety ( I didn’t have
low
mood
) I decided to come off a month ago . I had vivid dreams throughout my treatment but I reduced by 37.5 and nightmares became awful - waking a lot making me exhausted.

I’m new here amd confused!
I was diagnosed type2 diabetes last September and advised to reduce carbs. I’ve bought an Apple Watch and try to use my fitness pal to help. I’ve steadily increased my walking to 10000 steps daily and my calorie intake to around 12,00 , I am 4’11.5 inches . The low carb diets seems to be high fat and

Hashimoto's and LDN
Hi, I have read that Low Dose Naltrexone is a good treatment for LDN, but that it is controversial and it is difficult to get a prescription in the UK. Does anyone have nay experience of getting this drug, are GPs hostile, or open to try it ? Thanks John

Using Vitalograph asma-1 monitor
Good morning all!* *feeling slightly delirious after 8 steroids and 4 hours sleep last night due to my asthma... :) I recently bought a Vitalograph asma-1 monitor as like many of you I find that my usual peak flow doesn't really pick up on how bad my asthma gets - had a bad week with the warm weather
