Lyrica dose
I take Sifrol 0,25mg per day which gives me partial absence of symptoms for some of the time. I was prescribed 0.25mg twice daily but after experiencing augmentation a while ago would rather stay on the once a day dose. My GP has prescribed Lyrica 200mg at night or 100mg twice daily. I don't feel

Could my FND actually be dopamine deficiency?
My neurologist has just diagnosed me as FND and has suggested psychotherapy. However, I feel certain my symptoms are dopamine deficiency related. E.G - motor difficulties - extreme leg stiffness, hypertonia, hyperreflexia, falling over, aching legs, PLMD in sleep. All starting 12 months ago. I feel

RLS better but depression worse
So with my doctors help, I’ve decided to come off of Citalopram 40mg daily. My circumstances have greatly changed and I felt it was a good time to see if I could come off. I am completely weened off now. Surprisingly my RLS has been getting better but I’m now feeling that low mood and foggy feeling return

Hi, I’m only 17 and I started noticing symptoms of RLS at the beginning of this year once I started taking my antidepressants (Lexapro). When I told my doctor she just lowered my dosage which was helpful for a bit but it eventually got worse again. About a month ago I decided to stop taking my antidepressants

Crazy Neck Pain and Headaches Post Viral Meningitis
Hi all, 42 yr, female. I was diagnosed with viral meningitis in August 2019. After almost 7 months I am still dealing with the headaches, major neck pain and light sensitivity. There are days I feel like I could run a marathon (ok... not really a marathon but I feel pretty good!) and other times

Determined to walk Darcy this morning
3 weeks now I have walked Darcy 2 miles every morning. Woke this morning stiff and sore had to take codeine, Etoricoxib and paracetamol but determined to walk. 1/2 a mile less but it took an extra 45 minutes. Hate when this disease beats me I’m a bad looser. Thanks for listening to my grump. I’m off

Does anyone else have Hot Feet with RLS?
Hi Everyone, It's so interesting to read everyone's experiences with RLS. I have had RLS since I was about 15 (I am 50 now). I used to call it "Hot Feet Syndrome" because I had never heard of RLS, and it is only my feet that are affected. My feet get super hot most nights, I have to sleep with them

Restless Legs in Pregnancy
Hi everyone, I am not even sure why I am writing this message - partly because I want to vent; partly because I would like some advice. I have had about 2-3 episodes of mild and short lasting (3ish days) of restless legs outside of pregnancy. I remember the restless legs to be quite bad in my first pregnancy

FeSo4 and Mg and Requip
My boyfriend was suffering with RLS for a while and about a week ago, he had little to no sleep for 3 days. I researched online, and reach to this forum. I was scared of Requip possible side effect and alot of posting about people want to/did come off of it. I was hesitant to recommend him to try, but

Anomaly
Hi guys, After being in mild augmentation and having been on Requip (0.25mg) for just over a month, I started getting symptoms early morning, every afternoon and atleast 3 breakthroughs at night. This is when I also took tramadol 20mg, Pregab 150mg. With such discomfort, I decided to try a drug holiday

Try Caffeine for RLS
I've had RLS since I was young. Of course I never knew what it was, or if it even had a name until I was in my 30s. I am now 56. I have used mirapex and lyrica with success, but they made me gain weight. About 12 years ago, by accident, I found that CAFFEINE was the answer. Yes, believe it or not, caffeine
