Total 256 mq/dl (150-200) HDL 120 (42-65)
LDL
121 (0-130) Is this anything I should be concerned with? Also at 115mq/dl (60/105) she said my "sugar" is high, but didn't offer treatment for anything so I'm assuming it's not too bad?

Should I worry about my cholesterol?
And, unsurprisingly, the results have been flagged up as a potential cause for concern: Triglycerides: 2.14 [0.0 - 2.30] Cholesterol: *9.43 [0.00 - 4.99] HDL cholesterol: 1.47 [0.90 - 1.50]
LDL

Statins
Can someone explain this. Familial Hypercholesterolemia. I am very confused. After finding this website and realising that most of my Moms health issues may be from the statin she is on. I talked to the doctor and he agreed for her to leave it of for two months.and then have a blood test. Well she did

High Amount of Good Cholesterol is Not good.. Reasearch..
Medical experts realize there is a relationship between cholesterol levels and heart disease, but a new study finds that HDL cholesterol — the "good" cholesterol — can have negative effects on our health. Researchers from Copenhagen University Hospital and the University of Copenhagen discovered

Elevated AST, ALT and cholesterol
I had blood work on 2/12 and the AST, ALT and ALP were normal, but my
LDL
and thyroid were elevated. On 2/24, I repeated all labs and now my AST, ALT,
LDL
and HDL are elevated.

Alpha gal, Urso, and high cholesterol and blood sugar.
I recently had labs done and have very high
LDL
cholesterol and very high blood sugar. I am reading about how much the liver is involved in both these functions and wonder if the PBC is more advanced than I want to think.

B VITAMINS ARE VITAL. I did not recover from Hashi's til I took individual B vitamins
DO YOU REALLY NEED ALL 8 B VITAMINS? Most medical students are taught that people do not need vitamins and supplements. If you eat a balanced diet, they are told, you get all of the nutrients needed. I was told this in medical school and it is still the mantra being disseminated decades later. The

Still ticking after stopping treatment
It has been five days since I stopped all treatment. The results have been nothing short of amazing. I have my old energy back, went for a walk today for the first time in many months. Worked around the house and my head feels like it used to...bright. This is so nice after months of fatigue, low

Cholesterol conundrum...
So in 4 months with no real change in diet, it's dropped substantially and mainly the
LDL
. I have been exercising a fair bit over the last 5 months though. I know that result should be considered good but with no rationale for it is it really or is it down to a deterioration in my liver??
