Worsening insomnia can anyone help?
I’ve recently reduced my Levo dose because my T4 was 93% through the range and I was having palpitations. I was on 100mcg so now on 75mcg 4 times a week and 100mcg 3 times a week. Energy wise this is actually the best I’ve felt so far. Unfortunately the insomnia has worsened in the last few weeks where

Anyone experienced HbA1c increasing after starting T3, and increasing more when Levo reduced, does it settle , is it temporary
hoping to find out, if it will eventually right itself when thyroid issues are treated optimally. I think/hope it might but would be good if others have any experience references that could back up my intuition. I was px venlafaxine early 2019, had never had any blood glucose issues before that. Lipids

Blood test timing dilemma: advice please
Can you help me figure out how to get round this one please? The last few times I’ve done blood tests, I’ve followed the process advised here and done the test as early in the morning as possible. However, my endocrinologist had a bit of a hissy fit at this (the timing, not that I waited till after

Switching from T3 to T4
I've been on T3 only for almost 15 years, on levo before that. Kept having hypo symptoms despite high dosage of levo and my RT3 went through the roof (which most endos pooh-pooh away), so my dr at the time advised me to have a go at T3, for a short while. After some time I was told to go on dessicated

Blood results interpretation required
Hi there, I need help interpreting my results. My symptoms are brain fog, joint aches, lack of energy and anxiety. These have been with me all my life. They got better in 2022 when I started combination therapy. However, I do not think I have reached my optimum (whatever that is) because these symptoms

Bradyarrythmia
I had an ablation almost 4 years ago in feb 2020. Since then I have rarely had any arrhythmias, that is until now. They started out of the blue almost two weeks ago and are constant. However , they are not like before, this time the average beats are 60 per minute. They go as low as 42 and as high as

T3 and testing protocol - can I please clarify timings?
I started taking T3 approx 8 weeks ago and I slowly built up to my current dose of 9mcg. I’ve been on that since 5th Nov (in addition to 62.5mcg of levo). I’m planning on testing over Xmas but wanted to clarify the protocol with regards to withholding T3. Am I right in thinking that testing should

Twins?
Hi I just got a positive pregnancy test after having two embryos transferred. I am wondering if there is any way of knowing if both have successfully implanted or just one? What is the likelihood of both surviving? Thanks!

adult Dad with ADHD who has tried stimulant meds for the last time!
I recently after many years decided to try Vyvanse, after not using meds since my twenties due to terrible side effects, long enough ago were there was no Vyvanse. I’ve been in it for a week, and the anger, and irritability on only 30 mg’s is just too much to consider messing with it any longer. If you

Vitamin B6 Toxicity: Available Testing of B6 Plasma Level Does NOT Tell You What You Need to Know

Background
: Vitamin B6 participates as a coenzyme in over 100 different biochemical reactions. When it does so it is converted to the inactive form, pyridoxine. The body contains a recycling loop that restores the pyridoxine to the active form, P5P. Vitamin B2 is required for this process

Still having symptoms of hypothyroidism despite medication - any advice?
I wondered if anyone could please share their thoughts on my situation. I was diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism around 8 years ago, but didn’t have any symptoms (apart from some fatigue). Then, after contracting COVID in 2020, I began to have symptoms like 30-35lb weight gain (unexplained),

advice, thoughts please, feeling rather desperate?!
hi I only got one response to my recent post which was so kind but no feedback so am trying again as I’m a bit stumped. I’d hoped going on NDT would relieve fibro symptoms and generally help me feel better, and give me more energy, but despite latest test results I don’t feel that much different. Certainly

Endo agreed to adjust T3 to even, regular dosing.
Further to my previous post regarding the endocrinologist increasing my T3 from 10mcg x twice daily to 20mcg x1 daily, Mon, Wed, Fri only, and rest remaining at 10mcg.I thought this was odd, and posted on this forum. Some replied, saying this was not right. I sent an email to my endocrinologist on 16th
