Just curious, we transferred 2 embryos ivf and I really want twins. Tested today but received a faint line - positive though.. I’ve been reading on here the lines are darker with twins. How true is this? I’ve only started to feel symptoms today since returning from Testing so I’m guessing hormones kicking in.. Has anyone had twins but had an initial faint line? Thanks

Twins, HCG did anyone get a faint line initially on first pregnancy test?
Congrats!! it’s impossible to tell by lines/hcg levels on pregnancy tests! You would need to wait until a scan unfortunately. I know some women can get super high hcg levels early on and have twins but also these levels can vary massively between individuals!
I transferred two and only one implanted, my test at 9dp5dt was quite dark but not as dark as control line! It’s really hard to judge at that stage 🙂
Hi. I’m sure someone will reply if they have? All the best and hope all goes well for you. Diane
Good luck, there is no right or wrong here.....you can transfer one embryo and get a real strong positive or not so much and still have a positive outcome of pregnancy....equally with 2 embryos you just don't know what will happen. Fingers crossed for you....a positive is amazing news regardless!!xx
I got a super early BFP on a transfer of one, strong lines and then very high HCG - everything on the internet told me it was twins, but nope, just a healthy singleton. The normal HCG range is so big it's very difficult to know until your first scan x
