Tapered to zero Pred (DSNS)
I am now wondering how long it takes for my blood glucose to return to a normal range? I've been eating a strict keto diet for the last 20 months, I've been increasingly active as I've tapered down (play tennis 2-3 times a week, use the gym and walk the dog daily for 1hr +) My average glucose, taken

GP says results are fine
Fatigue, brainfog, muscle aches, joint pain, and other various symptoms. Below are my blood test results. The GP stated there is nothing of concern. He seemed more focused on mental health issues. Is there anything obvious below? Someone said to post here. Rheumatoid factor 8 Range: Below 12.5

low serum iron. Normal ferritin
been getting very tired lately. ET (MPL) on pegysus 45ug every 2 weeks. Mentioned fatigue to haematologist and he suggested reducing peg further to 3 weekly. Got the above results after we got home. Also raised CRP but I do have a cold . raised neutrophils and wbc. Haem thought this was good as mounting

DI02 Gene test
As if I hadn’t spent sufficient thousands on trying to find the answers I went and did a DI02 test to see whether I had difficulty in converting T4 to T3. Primarily to present my findings to the endo in the hope I may get Liothyronine on the NHS. The result came back saying the TT genotype appears

Blood Pressure, Heart Rate and T3
I'm raising my thyroid Medication. In the past couple of months I was taking T4 71 mcg/T3 18 mcg. My cortisol level is flat all day based on four point Saliva Test and suffering from adrenal fatigue. I asked my doctor to increase T3 so she prescribed T3 in small doses 3.5 mcg so I can add it and find

Is there a study using 100mcg of T3?
Hello everyone. Is there a study in which a group treated with t3 monotherapy receives at least 100mcg of liothyronine? I want to convince my doctor to increase my dose, and I noticed that he is only interested in studies. He thinks that even 60 mcg was a super high dose and he hardly wanted to give

Questions about rise in HbA1c
Hi, I started on prednisolone 20mgs on 26th January this year for 4 weeks, tapering 1mg every two weeks, currently on 16mgs (10 mgs am, 6mgs pm). HbA1c last August was 5.5% , result last week was 6% (42.0 mol/mol). My diet has been much the same throughout although I’ve been trying to reduce carbs further

long term omeprazole use
I was taking omeprazole for about 15 years and stopped in December last year, as I had done some research and found out it can affect stomach acid. No one told me to stop taking it. I don’t even know why I was put on it in the first place, up I think it was for IBS. I haven’t had any acid reflux or indigestion

Generic Teriflunomide
Hi, I’ve been taking Aubagio for almost 6 years now and had been very pleased with the medication. No new plaques or lesions issues were found on my MRIs and I hadn’t noticed any side effects which were caused by the medication. Taking Aubagio was a great improvement over Avonex for me as I had pretty

Constantly bleeding / zoladex
I'm coming to to my 3rd shot of zoladex next week but for the last 5 weeks I've had 3 periods and all have been a week long. I had 5 days respite between 2 and my current period. I'm currently on day 7 and is not letting up, so don't know how much longer this 3rd will go on for. They aren't light,

low ferritin
Hi everyone, hope you all had a good Easter… I’ve recently found out I have a low ferritin level, I started to take iron supplements, but found out recently they are non-heme, I checked my ferritin levels again and they’ve dropped to 29, and my iron serum has started to slowly drop aswell, I’m not deficient

symptoms flare-up
I have been battling an iron deficiency since November, that seems to be a result of my correcting b12 deficiency with shots. I have not been taking the full recommended dose of iron until about a week ago. My ferritin is 25, which is up from 14, but still deficient. The last 3 weeks or so I have notice

New FDA approved genetic test to predict the chance of opioid addiction
I am concerned about the new genetic test AvertD just approved by the FDA https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2024/03/25/dna-test-opioid-addiction/ It uses DNA to predict whether a person is likely to get addicted to opioids. I can envision where doctors will require patients to take the test and

Homocysteine Nutrients
https://www.seekinghealth.com/products/homocysteine-nutrients I really like the sound of this product but I’m concerned about the B vitamins that are missing, namely B3 and B1. It also doesn’t have inositol, choline or biotin, although I don’t know how important they

Hyperthyroidism and Pegasys
Hi everyone, I have been on Pegasys for my ET for about 5 months and have now found out I have very low TSG levels and too high t4, i.e. hyperthyroidism. Has anyone else experienced thyroid problems and did they have to come off IFN? Thanks!

Trying to find T3 in Portugal or EU
Hello all- I am an American living in the Algarve. My Endocrinologist here( in Porto) has written a Rx for Sanofi Thybon immediate release(to be taken in small doses over the course of the day) to replace the compounded T3 medication I brought from the United States. I have no idea where to get this
