Pre-surgical help needed please
I’m a long-time member here and need some medication guidance. I had a severe case of RLS that needed to be kept under control by staying on my combination of Tramadol (100 mgs x3X/day) and Pregabalin/Lyrica (100 mgs x3X/day). My surgeon said I could stay on Pregabalin, but not the Tramadol as it wasn

Hi everyone A few months ago I started with lower back pain, which developed into sciatica ( pain radiating down from my buttocks to my leg ). I didn’t think much of it at the time, as it came and went, but I rang the RA nurse and asked if it could be RA related, and I also saw my GP. Both lines of enquiry

Heya there 😊 Trying to keep positive atm I always find a way, but not able today to go into work due to back pain and abdominal pains. I'm aware some of it is sciatica, and nerve pain and muscular inflammation due to previous trauma, and I know I am a bit tender usually in my flank region in particular

Circumcision Journey
First of all I would like to thank this community which has helped me throughout the journey, really all the people over here are fantastic and easy to reach who has helped me clear out many doubts and anxieties which I have been going through throughout. I am a 29 year old male and had tight foreskin

Is my sister being overly drugged?
My sister has been in the ICU for 35 days from a hit and run. She was induced for 3 weeks and she’s been on anxiety medication, fentanyl then methadone. My mother is concerned methadone 15mg 4x per day is a lot. She has a breathing tube in her neck and half her teeth were knocked out but she has been

Since my last post about reverse T3 I have been constantly ill, in constant pain so I have been taking various opioid based pain killers. As I wrote in my post I have had a lot of my systems return. So that’s why I went down the possible root of reverse T3. I made the mistake of self diagnosing that

Hello everyone, I am a little desperate I have done my 5day embryo transfer on monday and since I have had increasing tooth ache and headache. My experience of laparoscopic surgery for removal of endometrioma for anyone who's suffering the same.
I'm 1 day post op for the removal of 3 x endometriomas. 2 on my right ovary measuring 6x5cm & 13x8cm and 1 on my left ovary measuring 7x6cms. So pretty big and unbelievably painful!! I had a great surgeon who managed to still get all of the cysts out via laparoscopic surgery however he did have to make

Open Heart Surgery, (OHS) General Comments 2
4 weeks post redo AVR. I thought this information might be helpful to others in a similar place. I was noticing and getting a bit concerned about some increase in pain in and around the wound site and in the intercostal muscles. My cardiac event follow up nurse pointed out that this is a common experience

No confidence in healthcare.
I have become a pessimist. I have lost all confidence in our healthcare system. Doctors who you schedule an appointment with, you're really sick, and they spend maybe 4 minutes talking with you and say come back in 4 months. You call again and say somethings really wrong with me. Then I go to the ER

Severe constant pelvic pain
I’m in so much pain and the doctors can’t seem to diagnose it. 5 weeks ago I had painful urination and I was given antibiotics. But a couple of weeks later it progressed to severe pelvic pain, I have lower abdominal aches, dark cloudy urine that smells strong. For the past 2 days I’ve been getting chills

Guilt and Shame

Still standing! us and the trees
We’ve had a bit of a break from running. I had a health scare and between appointments, storms and worry we’ve done nothing much but next week a barrage of tests start and if they aren’t in a hurry I’m not too scared any more, so today being a day off we discussed going out, took some pain pills, then

Aspirin as a painkiller??
This is probably a very very dim question, but can you still use aspirin as a medicine if you're also taking it for ET?? I take 50mg daily and normally just take paracetamol as a painkiller but I have a hideous cold and trying to look after two sick kids too. Can I take aspirin complex??? I used to

Bad flare up, stressing myself out
I think I’m entering into a flare up and am getting myself stressed out which I’m sure isn’t helping. Any tips for managing the stress and anxiety that come from this condition appreciated. For about a week I’ve had really low grade pain in my abdomen which I’ve been able to manage but I knew I was approaching
