4 weeks post redo AVR.

I thought this information might be helpful to others in a similar place.

I was noticing and getting a bit concerned about some increase in pain in and around the wound site and in the intercostal muscles.

My cardiac event follow up nurse pointed out that this is a common experience and can be due to increase in physical activity as recovery progresses. She also recommended to maintain the same level of analgesic intake, (paracetamol).

The obvious is not always apparent!
