Since my last post about reverse T3 I have been constantly ill, in constant pain so I have been taking various opioid based pain killers. As I wrote in my post I have had a lot of my systems return. So that’s why I went down the possible root of reverse T3.

I made the mistake of self diagnosing that I had gall stones and was trying to treat that myself (I know…..Ridiculous -and a serious lesson learnt) as want to keep my gall bladder as well as the fact I could not get a GP appointment for another week!!

On Monday the pain ramped up to off the scale excruciating so I ended up at A&E. where I found out it was not my gall bladder but a burst ulcer that has made a hole in my stomach wall. They have operated and while I feel better I am still in a lot of pain .

I am aware that morphine can block T3. What should I do. Shoul I increase T3 whist on the morphine ?

Sorry about the long post and thank you for talking the time to read it

That's terrible, Jill, poor you! But, don't beat yourself up about self-diagnosing. What else are you supposed to do if you can't get to see a doctor?!

Hope you get better very soon. x
