I’ve recently had a hospital appointment of a pre-op for left knee replacement. Amongst the many issues I have with complying with all the requirements for the best possible outcome, is one of weight. I have put on 6 stone in 6 months (thanks to pred), totally knocked off my feet with a DVT, cellulitis

I have been off Ibrance for approximately 12 weeks , due to knee replacement. Today I had extreme pain in the leg where I had knee replacement. I had knee replacement 6 weeks ago, and my leg was feeling a lot better. I am on day 3 of Ibrance, and wondered if anyone else experienced this after being

Update and advice needed
Hi, Just an update on my husband and a little advice please. (He's just turned 71) After having a massive flare of PMR and suffered with Carpal tunnel syndrome and sleep deprivation. He is finally in a better place. He has a bone density scan in September, should have been earlier, but he missed

Knee replacement
Morning my lovely friends! I have to have a knee replacement in the very near future. I am on 4 mg Pred, can probably get down to 3,5 mg. before I have it. Your experiences please —— I am 80 years old and really worried about it. I do understand that it is very very painful but does the Pred hinder

Total knee replacement
well I have finally been put on the surgery list for a total knee replacement, due within 9 months. I am being a bit of a scaredy cat about it as unsure of the risks .I will see if the anaesthetist will do a spinal anaesthetic and not a general as your suggestions on here 12 months ago before really

HELP WITH KNEE PAIN
I am 2 months into having a knee replacement & am still in some pain. I can walk without a stick but still cant stand for more than 10 minutes. Is this a sign of operation failure? When will it get better? I am very dispirited & depressed.
