knee replacement surgery

well that's me finally had knee replacement surgery done. Painful (as to be expected) but really surprised how easily I seem to be able to get around. Even planned a few days in London for next month.

Four days before I went into have my knee op I was told that I have type 2 Diabetes, was not expecting that. Now been told it's caused by being on steroids for so long. I'm waiting for appointment with a new rhuematologist,so hopefully he can get me on something to else control my RA. Just seems relentless, still waiting to find out what Lung disease I have, and to know if my blood Clots in my lungs have gone. Sorry for the rant. x

I don't know get one thing sorted to be told we've got another issue 🤦 glad you're recovery is going well but don't over do it. Take care

That's exactly what has happened. Started with Pneumonia and Pleurisy and inflammation in my lungs, while in hospital found out that I had a Lung disease. 5 months later I was back in hospital with lots of blood clots and a pulmonary embolism. I had to have my knee surgery postponed 3 times as the clots didn't go, so in February was put on Warfarin, and finally had my knee surgery at the end of June. 4 days before surgery they told me I had type 2 Diabetes. Hopefully nothing else can go wrong. 🤞🤞

I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles. Good news/bad news is not a fun game. I hope all is sorted out very quickly and easily

Glad that you have had your knee replacement surgery. I had a new knee in August last year. I really hope that you get your other problems sorted really soon. Xx
