I have been off Ibrance for approximately 12 weeks , due to knee replacement. Today I had extreme pain in the leg where I had knee replacement. I had knee replacement 6 weeks ago, and my leg was feeling a lot better. I am on day 3 of Ibrance, and wondered if anyone else experienced this after being off Ibrance.
thanks, Marianne

I think the best place to get advice is from your oncologist and your doctor who did the knee replacement. Severe pain can be a sign your body is telling you something is not right. Hopefully it’s just healing pains, but better to be safe than sorry and let your doctors assess the situation. Wishing you the best and quick healing!
Love your post and great words of wisdom - there needs to be more statistics put out, of so many women living for many years after this diagnosis- it’s seems to be outdated- I have been newly diagnosed in last 3 months- and hope the Ibrance and anastonole work well. This can , and should be just treated as a chronic disease- and there are so many things we can also do to make us feel better. Thanks again for your wonderful uplifting words today.
Hi Mimiholl: Did you receive a response to your question? Is Ibrance contributing to your new pain?
I have a similar question. My sacrum & L5 have fractured from radiation I had 10-12 months ago & I am told to have limited weight bearing & no twisting, sudden movement, etc for 8 weeks to help it heal on its own.
I am on Ibrance, Faslodex & Xgeva for 3.5 years & currently no evidence of active cancer. I’m considering getting off of Ibrance for 4 weeks to help my healthy cells multiply & help with bone healing. Since Ibrance kills healthy & cancer cells, I don’t see how my bones can heal on their own. I can’t get a oncologist or radiologist to give me a professional opinion on this.
