Anyone Fancy a Pint?
To the person who asked if their arthritis had got worse with taking morphine when she was taken off the cirrhosis drugs, this has happened to me. My joint pain turns out osteoarthritus. Unlike yourself though I did have joint pain before I stopped drinking - it's the alcohol that causes the osteoarthritus

Struggling to lose weight
Hello all. I'm currently struggling to shed extra fat. I guess the post title is a little misleading as I'm more concerned with losing fat than with weighing less. I currently cycle 3-4 times a week, clocking in an average of between 60-100miles per week. I also incorporate 2-3 sessions of fairly intense

Being a police officer with endo...?
Hi lovely ladies! So I'm joining the police in July but my excitement is dampened by my fear of what it'll be like to be a police officer with endo. I'm currently on my period and, for the last two days, I've been a zombie popping co-codamol and clutching to my hot water bottle. How am I going to be

I desperately need help!!! 😩😩
This has been going on for a while now. It doesn't happen every night, but when it does happen, it is only ever at night. I start to get this pain in my lower back, around my kidney area. I literally can't even describe the pain but it is excruciating. Usually I can catch it early and I take two co-codamol

Is my brain just shutting off for a break or am I having seizures?
I'm 5 weeks into viral meningitis recovery, (not feeling much improvement yet, just baby steps). My legs get very painful and heavy feeling if I stand up for more than 30 seconds, and they feel shaky and give way if I walk so I'm in a wheelchair or use a walking aid... and it's the same with my arms

Please can you advise me on PAIN RELIEF
Hello I live in France now and I used to live in the UK. Just been to see my lovely French Doctor who speaks English and she informed me that the pain killers I was prescribed in the UK are not good for my Only Kidney. I am on Naproxen 500mg x 2 daily. Co-dydramol Tablets 500mg 2 tablets 4 times a day

New member with blood test results - your thoughts please
Hello, my name is Vanda and I am a 53 year post menopausal female. I have been struggling with a whole lot of symptoms that may point to hypothyroid disorder, so I had bloods done by my GP and also paid for New Horizon bloods as after reading on here, I knew my GP bloods would be next to useless. I

My History
I'm Niall and am now almost 67 and was diagnosed in Oct 2013, PSA 620 and out of 12 cores in my biopsy, 10 were normal and a Gleason 3+4 in one and 4+4 in the other. Widespread metastases in all my vertebrae and ribs, a little at the top of my right femur and one in my skull. No organ or visceral involvement

Hi, newbie here!
Keeping this short as the worst pain is my hands. Just kind of got the FB diagnosis I think. All tentative and non committal. Have suffered Depression, PTSD etc for 20 years, and now they can't give me amitriptylene (spelling) as it clashes with other meds. Was referred to the Pain Therapy Clinic

Any advice?
Hi there So I will begin with... I am new to endometriosis. For 4 years I have been told I have IBS but I kept going back because something just was not right. In December my new gp agreed I have endometriosis although not diagnosed as waiting laparoscopy to see if I really have it. I am very convinced
