Sourcing levothyroxine without prescription in the UK
Hello, As per my reply to another post earlier, the endo that I saw regarding adrenal insufficiency recently included a throw-away line in the subsequent letter to my GP recommending that the levothyroxine that I have been taking for 12 years be stopped. Unfortunately, the GP instantly removed levothyroxine

Ectopic pregnancy shoulder pain
Hi,For any of you that have had an ectopic pregnancy what did the shoulder pain feel like? I'm 6 weeks pregnant through IVF and had some fairly heavy bleeding a week ago so obviously ectopic pregnancy is at the forefront of my mind. I've had some shoulder aches and I'm sure it probably is just because

road to diagnosis
Hi everyone, I don’t know where to start… it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster so far. It all started when I started getting redness and discolouration in both feet. My GP did a blood test and referred me to my rheumatologist for further assessment. My rheumatologist felt that my feet getting red was

Can anyone tell me what IVF counselling is like that is offered by NHS? What does it involve? And did it help? Returning to work from maternity leave
I’ve just had the most wonderful year off with my beautiful baby girl, and today the inevitable has happened, I have to return to work. I am so upset I can’t put it into words. bad news at early viability scan - do I keep taking IVF meds?
I had my early viability scan yesterday following FET on 7/5. I should have been 7w4d but the nurse who did the scan was only able to measure the embryo at 6w2d. She was also unable to find a heartbeat and said that the pregnancy was not going to continue. I’m booked in for a confirmation scan with

follicle growth - too fast and game over?
hi all! I’m in my 2nd ivf stim cycle and at day 8 of the cycle I had my scan - 2 follicles are already at 18-18.8mm with others following at 12-14mm. The clinic reduced my dosage to 300 and told me to start the antagonist (orgalutran) today.. I’m really worried by the time I trigger they will be too

Chemical pregnancy?
Hi all, I’m hoping for some advice. We have just gone through our second round of IVF (after an unsuccessful round last year). OTD was today (11dp5dt), but I started testing last week at 7dp5dt and have little to no line progression, so feeling really worried it’s a chemical pregnancy. Can’t call clinic

Hayfever medication ahead of stimulation round-worried!
Hi all, Hoping someone can help me calm a little ahead of our next IVF round. My husband and I will be starting ICSI round 2 in a couple of weeks. We've avoided all unnecessary medication in the lead up but on Thursday night last week we were both really suffering with hayfever and took half a piriton

requesting a IgA anti-TTG test in the UK
I have coeliac disease. The other day I talked to a doctor (over the phone, of course) to discuss results of my blood test. I then said that I would like to request a IgA anti-TTG test for my son (as you know, this is done through a blood test). I was told that now doctors can no longer request this
