Chemical pregnancy?

Hi all, I’m hoping for some advice. We have just gone through our second round of IVF (after an unsuccessful round last year). OTD was today (11dp5dt), but I started testing last week at 7dp5dt and have little to no line progression, so feeling really worried it’s a chemical pregnancy. Can’t call clinic until tomorrow and I don’t think my clinic does bloods. Was hoping for people’s thoughts?

Also feeling super nauseous but may be unrelated/progesterone related (as taking pessaries).

It's difficult comparing lines and different types/brands. The top three look like there's progression although the FRER does look light for the number of day post transfer, but that could just be the pic, or you have a late implanter or sometimes the test is faulty. The only way to know really is to get HCGs repeated. If your clinic doesn't do them, you can ask you GP, or you can get them done privately (including through online labs). Or you can wait and keep testing or just see what happens in a few days but I've been in that situation so many times I just need to know. I hope in any case it works out for you.

Im sorry you’re having this stress. It is impossible to know for sure and only time will give you the answer you need.

But being totally honest with you, when I’ve had pregnancies that have progressed the line gets steadily darker and by 11dp5dt it has been much darker than that. When I had a chemical it stayed faint for about a week with no progression and then faded away altogether the same day I started to bleed.

Of course everyone is different and pregnancy tests can be influenced by lots of factors. Speak to your clinic tomorrow and see what they say.

My clinic also don’t do bloods, which is annoying! I was tempted to get private bloods done, there’s lots of places that do them. I didn’t do it in the end as I gathered I could get similar info from test strips as they’ll either get darker or lighter depending on whether the HCG increases or decreases.
