Update to those following my story… Today marks 4 weeks since I started reducing my Pram usage. I was on six tabs, today I have taken only 4 1/2 and will do so for the next 2 weeks. So far, the RLS hasn’t been any worse than I was getting on 6 pills daily. So that’s pretty good I reckon. I have had

Does omeprazole reduce thyroid drug absorption?
I’ve been put on omeprazole and have been experiencing real crashes where I get so sleepy mid morning and mid afternoon. I take it 4 hours away from my thyroid meds. Anyone else experience this?

ibs and probiotics
He everyone, I just need a bit of feed back or advice please regarding taking probiotics to help ibs. After reading a lot of good stuff about these pills I decided to take the plunge and buy some.I have previously been on omeprazole for around 7 years and I’d also read these can destroy the good bacteria

Weak legs - update
thanks to those who replied yesterday. I said I would post following my GP appointment. I saw a GP who was surprisingly knowledgeable about PMR. She listened well and suggested it could be a flare. She’s given me 10 mg prednisolone for two weeks (I’m currently on 5mg) but is having a telephone conference

Hubby saw his Hepatologist recently and she was very pleased that he has not had any alcohol for just over 13mths now. She has requested that his GP changes his medication? She has requested that he is taken off of: - Thiamine - Folic Acid - Rifaximin - Vitamin B String Compound - Furosemide

H Pylori - Omeprazole - Stomach Acid - Thyroid
Hi all, My dad is 72 and has been suffering with persistent diarrhea ever since he was prescribed long term steriods along with PPI Omeprazole. I suspect that the Omeprazole resulted in low stomach acid which he still suffers from today (did baking soda home test, took 6mins 40 for him to burp!). He
