Increasing armour thyroid
I was diagnosed with Hashimotos and put on armour. I’ve been taking 11/2 grains daily since May and don’t feel great. My most troubling symptoms were mental like low mood, brain fog etc. I ditched HRT in Feb as it was making me feel worse and worse. Would I be ok to try an increase to 2 grains (tablets

Could this be PMR?
Hi there. I have been lurking in the background for a while. I have OA and in fact had both hips replaced-2014 and 2021 to great effect!! However for the past 2 years or so I have had various rounds of physio to try and resolve a stiff neck and sciatic pain. No real relief and Ibruprofen doesn’t help

Stopping HRT for tinnitus
I’m just interested if anyone on HRT has stopped it (gel and progesterone tablets) and found their tinnitus decreased. My doctor has suggested coming off it to see if it will reduce the tinnitus.

Need surgery
Hi I'm not new here but I thought I'd take a shot in the dark and explain the predicament that I am in. I have a prolapsed stoma which is 4 inches long and 55mm in diameter I've also herniated my bowel with it being 10cm in length. I also have 1 metre of small bowel left so not really much at all when

breathless when hypothyroid?
I am currently “dysthyroid” as my gp puts it. Briefly - diagnosed with hypothyroid disease in 2016 (all antibodies negative). Since starting transdermal hrt in Jan my thyroid levels hv plummeted (result posted recently but roughly T4 7.2 (11-22) and T3 2 (3.2-6.8). These results are from when I was taking

Binding globulins...
Anyone got a good handle on these, please? The reason I ask is that I have had 3 months of increasingly debilitating fatigue. I take T3 only and was on 100mcg, which took me 70% through the range, I have also tried 125mcg which takes me well over the top, but still tiredddddd. I have tested cortisol

Does Decapeptyl ever just stop working?
Hello. I have an appointment in a couple of months with my gynae to review my treatment. I've been on Decapeptyl for two and a half years now, with low dose HRT to keep hot flushes etc at bay. I had a lap about 18 months ago. I do have occasional pain but nowhere near as bad as it was pre-lap and pre-injection

Pelvic pain back 3 months after Hysterectomy
I have had significant pelvic pain with bowel and bladder issues for 2.5 years. It was hard to get a diagnosis. I was told at first it was a bowel issue, then Endometriosis/Adenomyosis and was eventually diagnosed with 4 fibroids, 1 being 7cm. A year ago, I was put on Prostap and add back hrt. The Prostap

low immunoglobulins and knee replacement
I’m contemplating total knee replacement. My concern is that my immunoglobulins have sunk below normal range - but not low enough to start infusions. Has anyone else had to consider this? What recommendations were made to you? Did you go ahead with surgery? Did you have complications? So much to think

Using Red Clover, Sage and Ashwagandha for the menopause, and it's safety with hypothyroidism?
Hiya. I am currently in the menopause with early onset osteoporosis, and have autoimmune related hypothyroidism. I am looking into various ways to manage this, conventional HRT being the least desirable. I much prefer natural ways to manage my health wherever possible, and I've found various herbal supplements
