Hi, i am a 45 yr old who got diagnosed with endo 7 yrs ago and had surgery which helped for a short period of time, used contraceptive pill to reduce symptoms which is did fractionally and then put on a GNHR and HRT for 6 months. After the GNHR and HRT treatment was finished i was taken into hospital with heart attack symptoms, admitted for 5 days and diagnosed with Myopecarditits. Since then, i have had elevated heart rate which can go up to 205 beats per minute when i sleep - which means i am having a Cardio workout in my sleep!!! I go back and forth with the GP doing blood test, ECG's which are always up and down but nothing appears to be conclusive. I noticed my heart rate go up recently before and endo flare up and just wondered whether the their is a connection with my fast heart rate and heart issues and Endometrisosis - has anyone else had a similar issue? or does anyone have any research regarding this area that i can read and discuss with my Gp or Consultant. I was meant to have a hysterectomy in 2022 but i had the heart attack just before so it got cancelled. I have just asked to be referred back into gynaecology for surgery. I would really appreciate any thoughts on the matter. I have also been seen under the gastro team for uncontrollable bowel movement and often need to take immodium but everything came back normal in the 'top n tail' procedure.

mine isn’t as bad, but I was diagnosed with Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia because of my racing heart, and no one could give me any reason why I should have that and I’m sure there must be a link. I’ll be interested to see what others say.

I’m in hospital now with sinus tachycardia that they can’t explain. They rang the gynaecologist for advice and they said it’s nothing to do with Endometriosis 🙄

sorry to hear that, it’s so frustrating when we’re not listened to.

I have had an increased heart rate for years with Endo. My GP gives me a very low dose bleta blocker to help the symptoms but that's just a mask. He doesn't know why but seems to allude to a connection between the two, he just won't say it forthright likely to protect himself.
