NHS IVF process
We have been told that we will be eligible for one
ivf
attempt on the nhs by our consultant. Can anyone give me a rough indication of what happens next and how long it is likely to be for us to be able to start a cycle (if results from analysis are ok)?

Stress before FET cycle
My worry is, life is very stressful at the moment :( Not only is
IVF
stressful enough but my dad is critically ill in hospital 2 hours away, we're planning our wedding (which may have to be moved depending on dad's recovery, or not, plus success of
IVF
), my partner's just been made redundant and my work

Currently on my first
IVF
cycle. I have stage IV Endometriosis and PCOS. TTC for 3 years. I had a laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy in May 2023. On Prostap for 4 months. Started Stimulation 24/08 with Meriofert for 10 days, with transvaginal scans every couple of days for close monitoring due to PCOS.

Failed implantation - what tests should I get to investigate and is the NHS likely to take them into consideration?
Hi, I was lucky enough to get NHS funding for
IVF
. Had one FET so far and it failed to implant. If I wanted to get tests in private to investigate implantation failure, which ones should I get, and are NHS consultants likely to take them into consideration or am I wasting money?

Is mild IVF better?
Started
IVF
1 year ago at age 37, diagnosed with both unexplained and DOR. We’ve been unable to conceive since we started trying at 32, fobbed off by every doctor in the US and UK for years because “you’re so young, just keep trying.”

Final Fresh Round… Any tips for low fertilisation?
Hi all, My partner and I have had x2 fresh rounds of
IVF
, both resulting in only one embryo due to low fertilisation (poor sperm quality and poor egg quality being our unfortunate challenges).

Heading for round three after two miscarriages. Success stories needed please
Hello there, So after two rounds of
IVF
and two miscarriages, we are going in for round three. Whilst we do not want to give up, it's hard to believe that this time will be any different. Anyone with a similar story that got to have a happy ending? Thanks! A

2WW can't sleep
This is my first 2WW and it has been so hard to get this far (nearly 2 years since
ivf
) so I know anxiety is likely to be a big part of the problem. I am still in shock I have finally managed to make it this far.

Implantation Symptoms
We have been trying naturally for 3 years on/off and trying to sort financing for
IVF
if not pregnant in next 3 months. I’ve never had these “symptoms” before. if it’s wind I’ll be annoyed 🤣🤣😬 hope all are well/coping.

Donor egg & menopause advice
I would love a sibling for our little boy, and really I think our only chance of success would be with donor egg
ivf
. It just wouldn’t be worth the expense with such a low chance of success with my own eggs, and I’d already been warned of this when we were going for
ivf
before.

option on failed FETs
We have 2 more frozen embryos and we decided that these will be our last two tentatives and we are not going to do
IVF
anymore. Our infertility journey started in 2016/2017, so we had enough heartbreaks!

choosing between Create or Kings for over 40s low AMH low morphology need help with wobble
I am still on the wobble whether to even start
IVF
at all as I know myself I am the personality of if I start it I’ll likely not want to get off it until 6 cycles which would be hugely devastating going through all the let downs !

Smoking and ivf
Hi I was a smoker for about 6 months before I decided to stop and go for
ivf
. Have been preparing myself with all the supplements for the last 2 months since April. I did smoke a few sticks (less than 10) during these 2 months due to very stress. I'm due for retrieval in Aug.

Oestrogen tablets/medicated FET for APS?
Hi there, I’m due to see my fertility consultant about a new
IVF
cycle. I had done medicated FETs before (all failed) but now that I’ve been diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Syndrome, I’ve read that I should stay away from oestrogen tablets as they double the risk of blood clots.

NHS IVF prescription costs?
Hi just wondering, I've heard that some people pay for
IVF
prescriptions ie injections, progesterone etc and some people don't on the NHS Could it be which area you live in? Just curios as to how it works. Thanks 😊
